Explaining sarahs character

So Sarah is 19 born July 16th
She has blond hair and blue eyes
As pointed out by joeseph she has become more thin and pale recently well let's go into her back story she is probably going to be the only few characters who have a lot of trauma

Tw: abuse , sa, drugs and eating disorder
Sarah was an accidental teen pregnancy with another man so not her "father" her bio dad is unknown her "father" on the other hand was a good man he took care of them and but that change when he got mixed with the wrong people he started to do drugs and become an alcoholic. He would occasionally hurt her mother but never her until.

So Sarah was 6 when her father became an alcoholic as she grew obviously her body was developing to around the age of 13/14. the one thing that would continue till she was 16 her father would sa her every day. when he came back drunk and stinking of drugs he would take out his anger out on her and her mother but one day on her 16th birthday she snapped.

Her father had just come back from being with his friends and it was going to be the usual, he would shout at her mother then her then drag her upstairs but today he was different he was more angry because he had lost all his money in a gamble.

So he was more aggressive the second he walked In he went to her mother and grabbed her by the hair he grabbed an empty beer bottle and smashed it on her head that set Sarah off she went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife went up to him and stabbed him.

Again and again and again...

Her father screamed in pain it was so loud it alerted the next door neighbors they called the police but by the time they arrived Sarah's dad had passed out due to blood loss and her mother was slipping in and out of consciousness they had called the ambulance and Sarah was taken into custody.

Sarah was questioned and later was her mother. Her father was later arrested for child abuse ,r@pe, attempted murder, assault and gang crime ( life sentence)

Sarah on the other hand because she was a victim and a minor it was passed as self defense but was put in juvenile prison for a year before being released at 17 because she did attempt to murder her father.

Her mother was in hospital for a while because she sustained severe brain damage from the hit and seeing her husband being stabbed in front of her caused her mother to have brain trauma issues.

Sarahs life after that was slightly better after being released she was sent back to school her and her mother were given a place to stay and later Sarah began to train as a police officer.

Though because of the constant abuse from her father she was kind of an empty shell her response to trauma is shutting down completely so she pushed everything that happened to her to the back of her mind like it never happened.

And that's how it was for the next two years in that time became a police officer me the prices bought her and her mother an apartment and climbed the police ranks but one day one call and that call would haunt her forever.

"This is ???? We are calling from oldwhich prison to tell you that ???? Jones has escaped prison and is now on the run" that call made her blood run cold all the memories of the past that she had pushed to the back of her mind came flooding back and so did a familiar voice a voice she hated to hear but always believed the reason why she didn't go get help earlier.

There was a voice telling when by she was younger that she deserved it that she deserved the pain that she was ugly that she was worthless that this was all her fault and it would be better if she never existed had come back to haunt her.

Sarah because of this has completely lost any sense of self worth she doesn't eat or sleep she works till she passes out she has just been destroying her self. She's scared that if she falls asleep he will be there.
