Chapter 9 the dream

Sarah ran through the building as parts of the ceiling and walls. She heard shouting on one of the rooms upstairs, she ran up the stairs as fast as she could running past the falling glass and stone. Sarah stopped at the room the shouting was coming from she shot the lock of the door and it opened Samuel was there with is mother who had blood seeping from her head "I'll carry your mother you get out now we don't have much time left" Sarah picked her up and put Sasha on her back she started running leading the way to Samuel wen they reached upstairs all exits were shut.

"Samuel hold your mother I have a plan" she handed Sasha to him as she grabbed a metal bar and broke the window that wasn't covered in rocks. (CRASH!) the glass shattered causing glass to go everywhere "you guys go first now!" Samuel climbed through the window carrying his mother Sarah quickly followed "shit!" Sarah had accidentally cut her waist on a shard of glass.

Kori saw Sarah and ran towards her "SARAH ARE YOU ALRIGHT" she hugged Sarah, she winced in pain as her wound was being squeezed by Kori "am fine get ms winter to an ambulance she has a head injury." Sarah pointed to Samuel who was lying down exhausted with his mother in his arms "alright" kori ran over to them and carried ms winter in her arms "SARAH!" Joseph ran towards her with tears streaming down his face "I thought I lost you don't do that again!" He hugged her but felt a warm liquid drip onto his hand he let go of her and looked down to see she had a big wound on her waist which was oozing blood "WHAT HAPPENED THERE!" He grabbed a bandage that he had on him since he was helping the other injured people and wrapped it around. Then he gently picked her up and carried her to one of the other ambulances "it's fin I..it's not th..that bad." She was slipping in and out of consciousness due to blood loss "SARAH TRY STAY AWAKE PLEASE."

Sarah woke up in a hospital the bright lights blinded her she sat up and looked around she saw her mother sitting on a seat next to her bed she tried holding her hand but her mother faded away. She was imagining her she decided to stand up. She opened the door the white walls made her feel dizzy she continued walking the place seemed familiar.

Her cold pale hands traced the wall the place was dead silent she could hear how shallow her breathing was her hair stuck to her skin her body ached she felt dizzy.

She continued walking in the empty halls she turned the corner and saw a sight that terrified her. Her father stood there with her mother's severed head in his hands. She froze she wanted to charge at him but her legs would not allow her she was stuck in place. She tried to move she couldn't soon her father started to walk towards her, Sarah tried to move, run  anything but she couldn't.

"MOVE AWAY FROM ME YOU SICK BITCH!" Despite Sarah's shouting her father lifted his hand and caressed her tear stained face slowly moving some stray hairs away from her face. "You are still ugly but you have a wonderful body you wouldn't mind if it was like old times" he got some of the blood from her mothers head and painted a heart on Sarah's chest.

"Leave me alone." She whispered "why not I thought you liked it?" He said with a grin. She felt something in her hand she looked down it was a knife without even thinking she jumped onto him and stabbed him again and again and again then she look up it was her old house.

Just before she could do anything again she woke up again this time she felt a surge of pain on her waist she looked down and saw her body covered in bandages. Sarah turned her head and saw Joseph still in his galah attire sleeping on the a chair beside her. "Joseph wake up." Joseph's head shot up he looked at Sarah and had a wide smile "you're awake now" he said "yes I am thank you for staying but I must go now am going to get started on that case you told me to do." She stood up and ripped the tubes off that were attached to her "Sarah wait you were only out for 3 hours you still need to rest!" He stood up and held her hand "well I'll go home good night."
