Chapter 5: Min-seok's Confession

The sun had just begun to cast its warm glow over the city as Ha-eun stumbled out of her apartment, barely awake but determined to face another day. The past few weeks had been a blur of relentless meetings, tense interactions with Joon-ho, and long nights working on the marketing campaign. **"Hey, Ha-eun. I've noticed you've been working really hard lately. How about taking a break today? I've planned something special. Let me know if you're interested."**

**"Okay, Min-seok. What do you have in mind?"** she replied.

A few moments later, Min-seok's response came with a cheerful tone.

**"Great! Meet me at the café we like at 10. I've got a plan for us to get away from the office for a while. See you there!"**

True to his word, Min-seok was waiting at the café when Ha-eun arrived. He greeted her with a warm smile and a reassuring hug, his presence a comforting contrast to the pressure she had been under.

"Good morning, Ha-eun," Min-seok said, his tone light and cheerful. "You look like you could use a break."

Ha-eun managed a tired smile. "You could say that. Thanks for doing this. I really need it."

They ordered their coffee and pastries, and Min-seok led Ha-eun to a nearby park. The park was a hidden gem amidst the city's chaos, its tranquil green spaces and serene atmosphere a welcome escape from the daily grind.

As they walked along the winding paths, Min-seok chatted animatedly about various topics, trying to lift Ha-eun's spirits. Ha-eun nodded, touched by his concern. "I appreciate that, Min-seok. It's been a lot to handle, and your support means a lot."

Min-seok glanced at her, his eyes serious. "There's more to it than just being a friend. I've been meaning to tell you this for a while, but I didn't know how."
