The Great Escape For True Love (A Marjorumn Story)

Wedding part 1

Time skip to 6 months later, the day of the wedding.

Marjorie's PoV:

Me and Autumn decided  to stay in separate hotels last night so everything would be a complete surprise. We both shared a room with our maids of honour. For me it was Char and for Autumn it was Mia. Them two have been bestfriends for over 30 years so I'm not surprised. I have no clue what autumns dress looks like, but I know mine is a huge white gown. It's what I always dreamed of as a kid! I go and get the main but if my dress on except for the veil and sit down to do my makeup, whilst Char helps me with my hair. I'm having my hair half up half down and curled with some pretty white flowers in it.

C-I can't believe you're getting married in less than 2 hours!
M-I know! I can't wait! Honestly this is the best time in my entire life!
C-I can tell! It's like you and Autumn are meant for each other, I don't know how we never thought about it before hand.
M-Probably because everyone thought I was straight.
C-True. But I'm glad you and Autumn have each other, you have helped each other through so much and you have actually made Autumn nicer!
M-Hahaha I guess that's true.

Autumns PoV:

I can't believe today is finally the day! Me and Marjorie are getting married! I've got Mia as my maid of honour, we have been best friends for 35 years! And now her and Char are dating, I feel like we're both closer. It's funny, I always convinced myself I'd marry Mia for some reason when I was younger, yet I still thought I was straight. Oh well, I'm happy with Marjorie and that's all that matters. I get into my dress, it's a simple yet elegant black gown, I never got the hype of the big white dresses, but I already know Marjorie will be in one she's always talked about her dream wedding, so that's exactly what I'm gonna make happen. I'd my hair and makeup and wait for Mia to be ready because somehow it's taking her more time than!

Mi-You ready Aut?
A-As ready as I can be.
Mi-Calm down, you'll be fine.
A-Okay I know, I just don't want anything to go wrong.
Mi-Aut with the amount of precautions you've put in place I don't think anything can go wrong!
A-Okay, well we better go, everyone's waiting.
Mi-Yep let's go!

We are only having a small wedding with all of our close friends as neither of our families are the nicest. Me and Mia walk down the hall to the front of the hall. I can see everyone so excited for this wedding. I'm guessing more for Marjorie than me after the countless years she spent dating horrible men and scrolling on dating apps. That's when the music starts and Carly walks down the aisle throwing the flowers, followed by Marjorie and Char. Oh my God Marjorie looks beautiful! I see her start to tear up which makes me sad but I manage to hold back the tears. That's was until she made it to the front, as I saw char wiping her tears, it made me cry, I felt the tears dripping down my face slowly. I felt a tissue wiping them, and it was Mia. I smile at her to say thank you before looking back at Marjorie and holding her hands as the guy (can't bloody remember what these people are called 😭 also just gonna skip the bit where the guys talking and go straight to the vows)

M-Autumn, from the first day I met you, I always knew there was something different about you. It was like you were a puzzle, I know you acted all scary and mean but I could see the true you through it all. Even if u didn't realise these feelings at first, I now know that all them things you'd made me feel when I saw you, from the butterflies to even just smiling at the simplest things you did, that this is what true love feels like. You are one of the most kindest, most caring, beautiful and also incredible at protecting me from everything. Your eyes sparkle in any light making you look even more gorgeous than you already do. Your smile is bright enough to make everyone in the world happy. You have one of the most adorable and contagious laughs I have ever heard. And overall I just love you so much. I love all the memories we have made and I cant wait to make more.

A-Marjorie, I have always loved you, even if I thought it as a friend before, I know now that's what true love was. And the fact that I now know I'm gay is mainly thanks to you (as requested by @TSMarjoreeece) I honestly love you so much and I can't wait to spend my life with you!

Marriage guy-Now if anyone has any objections speak now or forever hold your peace.
(The room stays silent and Carly hands them their rings that they put on one another)
Marriage guy-I pronounce you now wife and wife! You may now kiss.
(Autumn and Marjorie kiss and everyone celebrates, they then walk out of the hall to where the after party is to paper rings by Taylor swift playing)
