Chapter 5

After the camp incident, B has been keeping herself low ever since. V knew why but doesn't talk about it. Especially when Cyn aka the Absolute was watching.

N being the worried sibling goes to check up on her, saying if they should have the TALK now. She didn't want to because she didn't want to tell him. But he had enough and told her to follow him.

Knowing her brother that he wasn't gonna back down she just went along with it.

Bringing them away from their base heading to somewhere it can be just them.

"N, I don't think we should do this right now. Let's wait for another time."

"No, we need to do this. You and V have been keeping something from me and I want to know. V won't tell me so I know you'll tell me. You're my sister, we're family and family don't keep things from each other."

"It's not easy for me to explain, I can't even tell you if I wanted to. It's not simple."

N stops on his tracks in the middle of cars around them. Like a traffic happened before it was deserted.

"What's not simple, B? Things have been happening around us, J tried to kill me when I told her if the humans were gonna get rid of us if we completed our mission, I've seen a snake looking monster in J's body, I've seen you in that program all smiley and horrific, Uzi turns out she has powers like Doll, she was not herself at the camp, V was scared of something and you keep hiding things from me! I'm scared! Everyone is scared! I'm more scared for you because V kept saying something was coming for you and I want to protect you! I want to protect everyone! I don't know how many times I have to say it but I don't want to be someone who just stands back and see everyone around me get hurt! I'm so tired of being useless! So please B!"

He grabs her shoulders gripping onto her with tears coming down his screen. B's eyes turned worried, scared if she told him Cyn would kill him right on the spot.

"Tell me what's happening?!"

"I can't! That's the thing I can't! I want to tell you N, I really do. I'm doing this to protect you. It's already bad enough that I had to keep my mouth shut about V hurting you on that day at the prom and I just-"

"Wait... you knew?" He releases her and takes a step back, his eyebrows lower at disbelief.

"What?"

"You knew she would do that? That's why you left?"

"I-"

"That's why I found you at prom... you were in on that!"

"N... listen... WE are Murder Drones. We have to kill them so WE don't die. You have to understand that."

He lowers his head, disbelief that his own sister would hurt him. It was already bad enough that she was lying to him but this was another step.

"N? I didn't want to do it. I love you, you know that right? I wouldn't dare lay a finger on you, wouldn't even let anyone else do it but you would've gotten in the way. Please don't take that the wrong way."

All of that wasn't helping. N was thinking to himself, him and Uzi were having a conversation earlier talking about getting into their memory system to see what happened before they were sent down there. Trying to find answers to what exactly was that thing from the time they found J again and the time when Uzi went totally cannibal.

He looks up back at B, giving her the expression that he was gonna do something we'll regret.

"N?" She mutters taking some steps back.

"I'm sorry B... but I have to know. Please forgive me."

"What are yo-" before she can finish her sentence. He changes his hand into a katana leaping right at her, shutting his eyes as he stabs right into her chest almost near her heart.
