The next morning, Anakin and Lillia set off for Courscant. Although they were supposed to stay on Valérian, due to the orders of her family and the Council, she could not refuse the Senate or Chancellor Palpatine's word. The ship rattled softly as Lillia sat in the passenger seat next to Anakin. He was a good pilot — a little reckless, but still, very good. Lillia, on the other hand, was not very good. The first time she ever tried to fly, she accidentally sounded the alarms and put the ship on lockdown while her and Helaena were stuck in there for three whole hours. When their father, Kier, found them, he was not the happiest person alive.

The air was colder in space, much colder than what she was used to. In truth, Lillia would much rather not travel all the time — even if her duties practically depended on it. She liked Valérian. She loved its warmth, and its beauty. Surely she dreamed of visiting other planets, but Valérian would always whisper her name and she would venture on back to it. The sleeves to her dress were quite loose, which made her arms shiver.

Eventually, Courscant came into view, lighting up the pairs faces as they drew closer. Anakin steered the ship to land on one of the Senate landing pads.

As Lillia walked off the ships ramp, colder air blew against her tanned face. She and Anakin walked toward the Senate building. Lillia had never visited it before she went to meet with the Chancellor a week prior, but her father would always have business, and would travel to Courscant almost every month. Lillia looked up to the building as it loomed over her, its great sized intimidated her, but so did all of Courscant. She looked back to the city, and wondered how many people truly lay beneath its stars.

The pair walked into the building, which was buzzing with all sorts of senators and their clients. The main hallway was vast, but they eventually reached the smaller ones that led into the Grand Convocation Chamber. Lillia had never seen it before, and her eyes widened as she stepped onto platform.

The chatter of many echoed throughout the room, which was eventually going to be hushed by Chancellor Palpatine.

"Your Majesty." The woman heard from behind her.

As she turned, she was met with a familiar face. The olive skinned girl with the dark brown hair and honeyed eyes. Lillia had seen her several times on the holo-net articles and webpages, the woman was the ex-queen of Naboo, Padme Amidala. She bowed as she looked toward Lillia, who gave her a bright smile back.

"Senator Amidala." She replied, bowing her head in return.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice, Your Majesty, it means a great deal to me and Senator Alleia to have you here." Padme chimed, crossing her hands together.

"It is an honor to finally meet you." Lillia replied.

"The honor is mine, truly." Padme insisted . "When Senator Chanson informed me on the troubles of Orhela, I knew I had to come and offer my assistance. The safety of our food trades is crucial." The Queen stated, nodding her head in response.
