On the day of the engagement, excitement and anticipation filled the air. Vaidehi was thrilled to wear the lehenga she had chosen. However, as she put it on, she noticed an uncomfortable rash spreading across her torso. As the ceremony is being held at Vikramaditya's home she called him immediately. Vikramaditya's expression darkened with concern and frustration as he noticed the rash.

Vikramaditya : Vaidehi ! This isn't right. We need to find out what happened.
Vaidehi was trying to stay calm but she reassured him.

Vaidehi : It's okay Vikram. It might just be an allergic reaction. Let's handle it without making a scene.
Vikramaditya's frustration was clear.

Vikramaditya : I need to speak to Ananya about this immediately. This is unacceptable.
Vaidehi gently placed a hand on his arm.

Vaidehi : No, please don't. Let's not ruin our special day over this. I'm sure it will be fine.
Vikramaditya took a deep breath, his anger subsiding as he looked at her with concern.

Vikramaditya : Alright, but promise me you'll get this checked out right away. Wait ! Shalini is a dermatologist right ? Where is she ?
Vaidehi nodded as she is touched by his concern but she is not sure if she should tell him that shalini won't bother about that.

Vaidehi : Let's focus on enjoying our engagement. It's a harmless one. Leave it.

As they arrived at the venue, their love and understanding helped them navigate the situation gracefully. Despite the rash, Vaidehi radiated beauty and elegance. Vikramaditya's support made the day even more special. She wore a saree gifted by vikramaditya few days ago. They exchanged the rings and vikramaditya kissed her knuckles after wearing the ring on her finger.
During the celebration, as they danced under the twinkling lights, the minor hiccup was overshadowed by their joy and the deep connection they shared. Their love was the centrepiece of the day, weaving a tapestry of happiness and togetherness.
As the evening went on, the engagement celebration was in full swing. The venue was beautifully decorated with marigold flowers and traditional ornaments. Guests were enjoying themselves, and the music created a joyful atmosphere.
Vaidehi who is now wearing the saree Vikramaditya had given her, felt much more comfortable. She and Vikramaditya shared a loving glance and moved to the center of the dance floor. They danced together, their movements graceful and perfectly in sync. Guests gathered around, clapping and cheering for the couple. The discomfort from the rash was forgotten as they enjoyed the moment.
The night continued with guests mingling, eating, and offering their best wishes. At one point, a delivery person arrived with a small gift box. Without giving any details, the person left the box at the edge of the venue and left quickly. The box was plain and had no address or sender information.
