Loved by his people, but not his nobles, Henry VI is known for education reforms and mercy, not warfare. Still a young king barely shedding the shackles of his previous regeants, many seek to control his new parliament.

In the end of summer of 1452, Henry's health fails and he mysteriously collapses, incoherent, leaving his wife carrying their first child.

Margret is now a young queen with no power, a fatally ill husband, and an infant crown prince. She has no protection in Parliament against a take over, and very few allies.
