Mahiraa: The untamed love

Chapter 5

Days passed peacefully and perfectly in Poddar House. Abhira was trying to adjust in her new workplace as much as she could. And as Armaan actually said she is quick and a good learner. She managed to work as a HOD pretty well. In this span of two months that passed, she made mistakes like carrying the wrong file in the conference room when she was supposed to give the presentation. But all in all we learn from our mistakes that's what she believed. And miraculously they both have managed to keep Dadisa's anger at par.

And as usual they would go to the office together while dropping Krish at his academy on the way. And they remember to pack extra food for Krish as clearly as they remember to visit him during the lunch time every day. In case the meetings with clients might take long  they would ask Krish to come over but that's rarely the case.

Nothing was out of order. Even dinner time was more jolly. Now about this time Dadisa began to thank God that he didn't turn her decision into a walking nightmare. But little did she know that Ruhi still exists in their lives.

One peaceful evening when everyone was busy chatting about random things over a dinner table, Kiara caught her mother's attention
"Mumma mujhe college join krna hai."

Everyone came abruptly to the halt. Manisha looked at her and said lovingly,
"To kar le n beta. Tu bata konsa college join krna hai tujhe. Kuch decide Kiya hai tune?"

"Haan beta tum batao konsa college hai. Mai aur tumhari mummy Jake kr lenge admission. Kyu manu?"
Manoj said. Kiara started to smile. But then again she remembered something and said.

"Haa Kiya to hai wo....wo..Maine..."
Kiara began to hesitate and this got dadisa's attention.

"Wo kya Kiara... ? Saaf saaf kaho kya kehna hai tumhe" Dadisa said seriously.

Kiara shifted in her chair nervously. It was evident that she was scared for her life. Getting dadisa's attention was the last thing she wanted to do.
"Wo Dadisa Maine decide Kiya tha...mtlb mujhe doctor banna hai to ...  Isiliye soch rahi thi ki... City ke kisi private college mai admission lelu..."

Even Aryan couldn't hear her last words who was sitting beside her and was suddenly so interested in his empty dinner plate. But he did sensed his sister's fear.

"Ye tum hume puch rahi ho ya bata rahi ho?" Dadisa asked. Now everyone seemed to sense the tension straighten up their back. When Kiara didn't say anything she took a deep breath and said.

"Ye tumne decide kab Kiya?"

"Bohot pehele se kiya hai Dadisa.."

"Aur tumne humse akar ya Ghar ke kisi bade se pahele Jake discuss krna jaruri nahi samjha?"

At this point Armaan and Abhira began to look at each other. Cause only the night earlier when they were having the after dinner conversation with chorus gang Kiara bought up this topic. Ofcourse she discussed this with them before anyone else. And she got a positive response from all of them. But was afraid to put it out in front of family. When her Abhira bhabhi suggested- 'just ask them casually as if it's the last topic you would want to discuss. Tumhare mummy papa mana nahi krenge. Problem hai Dadisa and others. So be careful don't say anything that will gain their attention. Don't stutter. And her bhayya added- and remember you have not discussed this with us. Alright.' yeah that was the plan Dadisa and others were not supposed to know that they both already know and had given their advice.

But the whole thing came crumpling down when Kiara said, " Dadisa wo mere bachpan ka sapna tha... To isiliye maine... Pr maine ye baat discuss ki hai.. Maine pucha tha bhayya bhabhi se..." That's it she did it. Many things happen in a span of a few seconds. Armaan and Abhira mentally slapped themselves. Aryan was looking at his sister with incredible expression on his face which were screaming 'you were not supposed to say that.' Krish and Charu looked at her so rapidly that charu dropped her spoon and Krish spit out the water and started coughing.
