Everyone was sitting in the drawing room. And by everyone I mean the men of the house. The ladies were busy preparing dinner. Dadisa was discussing some important matters related to the firm with Jamaisa. Rohit was listening carefully, while Madhav and Manoj were playing chess and kids were cheering for them. Average Sunday evening in the brown household. Meanwhile Abhira and Armaan had yet to come.

Meanwhile Ruhi just came back and directly went to her room, she kept her gift hidden safely in her closet. And then went downstairs and joined hands in preparation for the dinner.

After sometime a knock was heard on the door. It caught everyone's attention. Aryan went and opened the door.
Two people walked in joining their hands in greetings.

"Are Shastri ji aayiye, aayiye. Namastey." Dadisa said while greeting them and standing up from her seat.

"Namaste kaveri ji. Kaisi hai aap?" Mr Shastri asked. While he walked inside and sat on the couch.

"Hum sab theek hai. Aap batayiye kaise yaad kiya apne itne dino baad?" Dadisa asked smiling.

"Ab is umr mai Kaveri ji jab tak kuch jaruri Kam na ho tab tak kaha ghar se bahar nikalna hoga?" He said.

"Sahi kaha apne."

"Aur Rohit beta kaiso ho? Suna hai firm ke director ban gaye. Congratulations." He said extending his hand.

Rohit felt awkward and he hesitated to shake his hand but when he saw the look on dadisa's eyes, he did it instantly.

"Thank you uncle."

"Ye lijiye chai." Dadisa offered. As Ruhi bought the tea.

"Ye apki poti bahu hogi, agar mai galat nahi hu to?" He asked looking at Ruhi.

"Haa sahi pehchana apne. Ye hamari choti Bahu hai. Rohit ki patni." Dadisa introduced. Ruhi instantly seeked his blessings by touching his feet.

"Khush raho.." he said.

"Aur Armaan kahi dikhayi nahi deraha, kaha hai wo. Uski bhi to shadi hui hogi na." He asked.

"Wo Armaan aur uski patni bahar gaye hai Shastri ji, bas ate hi honge thodi der mai." Madhav explained. Dadisa was relieved.

"Wo Kaveri ji. Wahi humara gisa pita kam. Company ko khada krte krte Puri jawani nikali gayi. Aur ab bhudapa usko khada rakhne mai nikalta ja raha hai." He scoffed while seeping his tea.

"Kya baat hai Shastri ji aap pareshan lag rahe hai. Har bar ki tarah is baar bhi apka case hamara firm hi ladhega, aur har bar ki tarah apki Jeet hogi. To isme itni ghabrane wali kya baat hai?" Dadisa asked.

"Ghabrane wali baat hai Kaveri ji. Is baar case PMLA offence ka hai. Isiliye mujhe yaha khud ana pada." He said seriously.
"Bas ek hi request hai meri Kaveri ji, ye case mai chahata hu ki Armaan ladhe. Aap ye case kisi aur ko mat sopna. Mujhe Armaan bete pr pura bharosa hai. Aise bohot se corporate cases usne kafi safai se handle kiye hai. Isiliye hum business class mai uska kafi naam bhi hai. Meri bas yahi darkhast hai Kaveri ji. " He said earnestly.

As if all the colour was drained form her face, Dadisa had such stoic expressions. It was not a big request, Normally she could have said yes easily. But now the conditions were different. Vidya was standing there right beside her. Her expression were the same as dadisa's.

"Aap befikar rahiye Shastri ji. Aapka case handle ho jayega." Dadisa said. Mr Shastri visibly relaxed.

"Aap janti hai Kaveri ji, mai aaj tak apke pass aise specifically request lekar nahi aya hu. Tab agar aaj aya bhi hu to please samjh lijiye ki baat serious hai thodi."
