"Abe...?" I say but as I did I was met with another splash of water. "Oh my god, I am sorry! I thought you died..." Abe says with a nervous look. I wipe the water off my face and look back at him.
Abe looked different... He looked the same but he held a scar on his left eye and a big gash on his cheek. I blinked a few times and I felt my head start hurting. "You ok?" Abe asks tilting his head to the side.
"My head..." I say and Abe gives an 'oh' sound and nods walking off. I looked around where I was... It seemed like a house and I was now on a bed. The place looked cozy and I was guessing it was Abe's.
I then saw Abe walk back with a bottle that held a purple liquid. "Drink this" Abe says handing it to me. I look at it skeptically and drink it slowly. As I did I started to feel my headache go away.
"You know when I said The waters end I expected you to follow the river not go and try and drown yourself," Abe says. So it was Abe who had been telling me these things?
I then watched as Abe walked over to a chair and sat down. "You may have questions I am assuming," Abe says and I nod. He then gestures to me to ask away. "What happened to you?" I ask about his appearance.
Abe looks at me and laughs a little. "Isn't it rude to judge someone's looks? But anyway, a lot of things happened..." Abe says looking away. "What happened here since I left this place?" I ask.
"A lot of hell..." Abe answers... He wasn't giving direct answers like he had in the past. "But let's stop the questions and let me help you get home again... You shouldn't be here..." Abe says standing up.
I nod and watch as he walks over to a desk picks up a book and walks back to his chair. He starts flipping through the book. He then stopped on a page and sighed happily. "Good there's a soul..." he says.
A soul? What did he mean by that?
"Ok, how did you die?" Abe says looking back up to me. "We fell inside a well..." I say. Abe nods and then his eyes widen. "We?" he says confused... "Me and my brother fell inside a well and we both ended up here..." I say.
"Oh..." Abe says his eyes softening as he looks down. "Where is he now?" Abe asks and I say "No idea... But I know he is with a person named Venice..."
"Venice..." Abe repeats what I had said. "Do you know them?" I say looking at him hopeful he knew where they were. "I-... I don't know..." Abe says with hesitation... He knew where they were...
"You know where they are don't you?" I say standing up from the bed and walking over to him. Abe stayed quiet for a little bit and then said "The ruins of L'manberg..."
My eyes widen... That's what George meant by his riddle. The ruins of L'manberg... "They are by L'manberg?" I ask and Abe nods. "Why would George stay in the ruins of L'manberg..." I say under my breath.
Abe looks at me confused... "George?" he says and then suddenly his face turns cold. "Y/n have you had any weird dreams like back then when you used to see me?" Abe adds.
I nod and he groans. "Shit!" he loudly says as he starts pacing back and forth. "What has George told you?" Abe says looking straight at me. "Nothing... He thinks I wanna see him..." I say. Abe nods and he runs a hand through his hair.
"Have you met him?" Abe says quietly. "Met who?" I say a little confused. "XD?" Abe says and I nod a little. "Listen... Y/n you need to stop seeing them..." Abe says. I then squint my eyes at him a little and say "Like that is possible... Everytime I sleep they are there" I say.
"Then don't sleep..." Abe says blankly as he stares at me. "So you want me to get insomnia?" I say and Abe sighs. "That would be a great way to go," Abe says as he grabs his book and starts flipping through the pages again.
