The Vigneshwara Puja :
The ancestral house of Vaidehi's family is a grand old structure with traditional Telugu architecture which stood majestic amidst the bustling preparations for the Vigneshwara Puja. The large hall is adorned with intricate wooden carvings and vibrant rangoli designs. It was a sight to behold. The scent of incense and fresh flowers filled the air as Jagadish and Indrani meticulously arranged everything for the ritual.
( Jagadish : Indrani ! Puja ki anni aarpaatlu ayipoyayai kadha. Ee sari elanti addankulu raakoodadu. )
Jagadish: Indrani, have you ensured all offerings are prepared ? The puja will begin soon.
( Indrani : avunu andi ! Antha siddham chesamu. Vaidehi kuda edhuru choostundhi. )
Indrani: Yes, dear. Everything is in order. Vaidehi is eagerly waiting.
Vaidehi descended the stairs looking radiant in her bright blue saree. She joined her uncle and aunt at the altar which is decorated with marigolds and mango leaves.
( Vaidehi : Babai , Pinni ! Eeroju nenu ilaa undataniki meerey kaaranam. Nannu cheeradeesinandhuku chala thanks )
Vaidehi: Babai ( uncle ) , Pinni ( aunt ) . this day feels surreal. I'm so grateful. Thank you for everything you've done for me.
Both jagadish and Indrani hugged her. They felt emotional by listening to her words.

Jagadish: It's the start of a beautiful journey. May Lord Ganesha bless us all.

As the priests chanted mantras, the family performed the puja with devotion, their prayers mingling with the fragrance of flowers and the soft glow of oil lamps.
The Gouri Puja :
The following day, the house buzzed with preparations for the Gouri Puja. The hall was decorated with fresh flowers and traditional motifs. Indrani was busy ensuring everything was perfect for the ritual.
( Indrani : Vaidehi ! Aa kalasham alagey naivedhyam sarigga pettu. )
Indrani: Vaidehi, the kalash and naivedyam need to be set up properly for the puja.

Vaidehi: "I'm on it, pinni.
They placed the kalash in the center of the ritual area, surrounded by offerings. The family gathered around, chanting prayers and performing the puja with heartfelt reverence, seeking Goddess Parvati's blessings.
Vaidehi sat down to perform the puja with utmost devotion and prayed to godess parvathi for her family's wellbeing and she also prayed for her future husband's longlife.
The Haldi Ceremony :
Two days before the wedding, the ancestral house was transformed for Vaidehi's Haldi ceremony. The spacious courtyard was adorned with vibrant flowers and traditional decorations. Friends and family gathered and they excited for the festivities.
Initially Vaidehi was made to grind the haldi by using a huge mortar along with few other ladies.
