Hey everyone,

Not going to lie or exaggerate but I have really tried my best to make this chapter as fun as possible... Took me TWO weeks: to think - plan- write - edit - delete - rewrite - edit - and then Publish.

I almost gave up... but you all wanted this, so here it is.

Bade hi obsessed hai sab yahan Amna se...

Honestly speaking, if you all didn't reciprocate all this hard work properly - I would be very disappointed.

.

Enjoy  ♥️

The evening sky was painted with hues of orange and purple, the weather pleasant after a hot June day. The traffic of Karachi, a vivid picture of people coming back home from their offices, tuitions and other day activities... some going to enjoy their weekend after a hectic and packed week. Among the moving traffic was Aini and Fakhir, about to reach their destination.

"I still don't get why I had to come along. It's not like I was invited or I know anyone" Aini muttered under her breath

Fakhir rolled his eyes, as he parked the car "I was invited na, that's enough. Moreover, the whole point why I wanted you to come is for them to get to know you and you them"

She clutched her dupatta and shot him a skeptic glance "But, Fakhir..."

"Aini, stop overthinking and come out" he said, while unbuckling his seatbelt

Releasing a frustrated sigh, she came out of the car and stood with drooping shoulders and face etched with annoyance. The warm air of Karachi's June weather brushed against her skin, making her hairs flow gently across her face.

Before she could gather her thoughts or muster another protest, Fakhir was at her side and taking her hand in his, he literally made her walk beside him.

"Fakhir, I swear, if something so goes wrong na... y-you would, you would be sleeping in the hall today" came her threat, tinged with the slight tremor of nerves.

With no effect of her words on him, he left her hand only to replace it around her waist. She gasped at his behaviour, but he only drew her closer, guiding her towards the designated section. The warm glow from the restaurant's light spilled everywhere, creating a cozy and intimate ambiance within.

"We'll see about that, Begum" he began, as they climbed up the stairs "But, I am not letting you back out, and that's final" his tone, half-amused, half-commanding.

Aini huffed, brows knitting together at him. Bringing her hand up, she tried to brush off his arm but he only tightened it "You can't just manhandle me into doing things your way, Fakhir"

"Manhandle?" he peered down at her with wide eyes "Not a very nice way to describe about how I am adding a little bit of fun to your boring schedule" he retorted back

"Whatever..." she mumbled to herself

Just as they reached the private section of the restaurant, Fakhir's friends were already there and they caught the tail end of their heated yet playful exchange.

The group fell silent for a moment, their eyes widening with pleasant shock. Some had a gaping expression, while Ahmed couldn't help but smirk at the scene before them. Amna just stood silently at the back, with a blank expression on her face.
