"Okay, so the goal is simple. Infiltrate and attack, don't leave survivors."

"I think I know how to play a video game, Ned." They really take this seriously, don't they?

"Sorry, I just don't want to lose to Peter and MJ again!"

"Don't worry, we're definitely not losing to them." Let Peter beat me? As if. Parker is so going down. I focused on all the red colors and taking them out, seeing as Ned and I are on the blue team. Finally, I find him. "Oh, you're so dead." I'm scouted out above him on a building and he's facing the other way taking out my own team members. I line up my shot and release fire.

Suddenly I hear Ned scream, "YES, YES, YES!" At the same time, I hear Peter in the other room, "NO!"

My laugh came quickly. Peter and MJ joined us in Peter's living room. "I cannot believe Addy just took the winning shot and killed Peter."

"That was so rigged."

"Not true, Parker. We could go one on one, and I'd still win!"

"I'll have to take you up on that one day but not today. I'm starving."

MJ spoke next, "Well, as fun as this was, I do have to go. My curfew's coming up."

"Oh, same. I can walk you home MJ, if you want?"

"Sure Ned, I'm ready when you are."

Ned and MJ left soon after, leaving me and Peter in the living room.

"I can't believe you've been here two weeks."

"Me either." It felt more like days considering I spent every moment I had free looking into the Avengers. Deciding if I could trust them.

"Do you want to watch a movie?"

"Yea sure! That sounds like fun. Which one?"

"Star Wars?"

"You always want to watch Star Wars. How about something new?"

"What do you have in mind?"

"Mmhm, The Lord of the Ring's?"

"Sure." We settled down on the couch, not to close but not much room between us. As the movie played, I noticed we slowly became closer and closer.

My eyes became heavy, and Peter's shoulder felt like a good place to rest. I don't think he'll mind.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Peters POV

Adalee had fallen asleep on my shoulder and gah did she look so peaceful. I know I've only known her two weeks, but I truly have feelings for this girl. And we always seem to spend so much time together. I know I should be out patrolling tonight and with May out for the weekend I could spend longer out but I couldn't pass the opportunity to see Ada. Maybe now that she's asleep I can sneak out for a little bit?

Mr. Stark has me on the lookout for a possible threat. An ex-Hydra weapon, or better yet agent, has come to the city and Stark wants me to try and find them. So far, the streets have been pretty quiet.

After two hours and a mugger, I decided to call it a night.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adalee's POV

I woke up to the blank screen on the TV and shivering. Peter had covered me in a blanket but I'm always cold, especially with my advancement.

"Peter?" I called out and received no answer. Maybe he went to bed? Normally he stays out here with me all night. I decided to go check in his room, something just bothered me.

I heard a soft crash as I was opening the door. But I didn't see Peter. Instead, there stood Spiderman. The Spiderman. One of the very Avengers I have spent late nights looking for.

"Adalee."

But it wasn't just Spiderman. That was Peter. That was Peters voice under that suit.

"No." I just stood there staring. What else are you spoused to do when your new best friend shows up in a superhero suit. "You're lying. You bought this at some crazy craft store, or maybe you're just trying on a suit for the internship." There is no way this was right under my nose the entire time.

But then he slipped off his mask. And there was my Peter staring back at me. "I'm not lying Ada. I wanted to tell you, I'm sorry you found out like this." I saw the hope in eyes, as well as the fear. I couldn't help but look down at my hands, please let this be a prank I've pulled on myself. But it wasn't.

"No." I need to get out of here. Before I could even turn around fully, I felt a sticky substance on my wrist and soon was face to face with Peter. I could feel his breathe on me.

"You really are Spiderman."

"I really am."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The shock had finally worn off and I soon realized what I needed to do, "I need to talk to Stark, now."

"Woah, Ada that's a big demand. Just because I'm Spiderman doesn't mean you need to talk to Stark. Plus, he's a busy man."

"It's got nothing to do with you. I just- I need to talk to him or Steve Rodger's."

"Adalee, I don't understand. Why do you need to talk to them?"

"I didn't come to New York for my brothers' job. We came to New York to get help from the Avengers. And when we met, I had no idea you were one. When you told me you were an intern, I thought maybe I could find a way in without getting you involved but now I know you're Spiderman that changes everything."

"Slow down Ada. Why do you need to talk to them?"

"I can't tell you here. You have to take me to the Avengers, Peter. You have too." I could feel the tears starting to pool in my eyes. The pure dread. I wondered for a long time if I could trust the Avengers, but I know I can trust Peter.

"Ada, I'm going to ask you something very important and I need you to be honest with me. Are you the Hydra agent on the run?"

"Yes."
