"Are you going too keep lying on your bed, and keep fuming over nothing?" Charlotte said as she stepped in.
"I just want to be alone." Emily muttered, still lying on the bed. She has been like this since she returned from her dinner with Tod last night. She just wanted too be alone as she boiled in anger.
"At least you can get up and make breakfast for the both of us, or…share my ice-cream sundaes with me." She shoved a full spoon of the ice-cream in her mouth. "Mmmmm…" she hummed, as she shut her eyes closed and enjoyed the sweet taste of her favourite flavour drown into her stomach.
"This is good. You should join me." She said, and scooped another spoon of ice-cream.
"I don't even know how you entered my house." Emily said, annoyed. She sat up on her bed and gathered the duvet up took her chest. Her hair looked messed up and so does her angry face.
"Ugh—are you seriously asking me this kind of question?" Charlotte asked, taken aback. "You allowed me spend the night when you came back looking like you'd explode any moment. I asked if I could stay and you said I can, if I don't disturb your time to boil over nothing."
"Now, I'm back too my senses. You don't get too stay."
"Liar, I know you want me as much as you want ice-cream sundaes." She hovered the glass bow in front of Emily's face. "It's your favourite, vanilla flavour."
Emily pushed the bow from her face with a frown.
"Vanilla isn't my favourite flavour. How could you not know what my favourite flavour is."
"Coconut, strawberry, banana, coffee…" Charlotte listed.
"Oh. Please. Stop. I don't take ice-cream sundaes, ice-creams in general. How did you forget that?"
"You know I've been carried away by work load for years now. Ever since I started working under the phoenix industry. We don't spend most time together like we used too when we were kids and teenagers. It's not like you remembered my favourite colour."
"Orange and royal blue." She answered, flatly. "What a combination."
"Hey, that's not my favourite colour." She lied. Emily looked at her, because they both knew she was right.
"Fine, you remembered. Doesn't mean you haven't forgotten most of the things I loved doing back then."
"I do, if you want me too start listing them for you right now."she challenged.
"Alright, alright. You do and I'm happy for that. I just need more time too spend with you and I'll know all your things like old times, but the problem is that you keep chasing me away from you. I'm beginning too think you have a new best friend." She pouted.
"I can never leave you for another person and you know that. Even though you're a bit annoying and all-crazy-like." She mumbled.
"Hey. I heard that."
"Then get the hell out of here." She urged Charlotte with her hands too leave.
"Fine. I'll leave if you tell me what happened last night or, we go too the beach so that your brain can get calm."
"The beach is best, and after the beach you'll leave my house too night. Deal?"
"Not a deal. I'm staying with you, no matter the pressure you put on your words too get me out."
"Just get the hell out of here." She picked a pillow and threw at Charlotte, as she chuckled and left the room.
The blue beach water rolled down too the shore. Alot of guys walked towards the water with their surf board. The weather looked cozy and warm at the same time.
