As time passes, Kiku slowly realizes that he is actually starting to develop feelings for Alfred. Although he denied it for a while, he couldn't ignore it anymore. It's just too hard to, Alfred is clingy at certain times, but he's too cute when he's like that. But Alfred felt that since he first met Kiku in the airport, he is just too good at hiding it. But it was clear he was hinting at how he felt by physical touch, quality times, etc. Kiku is just too dumb to notice it, even giving hints had become a habit for Alfred, he really is becoming blue's clues at this point. But what will happen to their friendship if one of  them confessed to the other? That's why they were too afraid to tell each other.

"Alfred DID date Ivan in the past, maybe he wasn't ready for another relationship yet." One thing that came across the Japanese man's mind as he thought about how he felt towards Alfred.

But his thoughts were cut off by Alfred whistling a tune for his attention, "Kiku, dude you listening??" He spoke up, looking at him with confusion. "Erm uh-" He mumbled incoherent sentences, laughing nervously. "Oh fuck it, what I was asking was.. Do you wanna maybe grab a cup of coffee with me at Starbucks? We could go get dinner afterwards". "Oh, sure." Kiku hummed in agreement, checking the time on his phone (4:30 PM)

Alfred grinned and stood up from the couch, lending a hand to help Kiku get up. "Hm? Ah right, thanks.." The Japanese said, taking Alfred's hand in his as he was pulled to his feet. Alfred softly chuckled and intertwined their fingers before walking out of the house, locking the door first and went to the car. Kiku's eyes widened at the sudden interaction between their hands, blushing lightly at the touch.

The American unlocked the car with his keys, and opened the passenger door for Kiku to get in. "Come on, dude we don't have all day." He spoke, Kiku nodded and got in the car.

Alfred walked around and opened the door before getting onto the driver's seat, starting the engines, driving the car out of the garage and onto the road. Kiku looked at the window beside him, enjoying the peaceful silence they were in. "So," Alfred broke the silence, "when will you go back to Japan, Kiku?" He asked, though he didn't want Kiku to leave anyways. "I booked a flight for next week. we still have so much time to do other stuff, why did you ask?" He replied, turning his head to glance at Alfred. "Gonna miss ya." He smiled as he glanced back, it was clear he is sad from hearing that Kiku had to leave in a week. Kiku laughed softly and gazed at the road in front of him,

K- "Oh come on, cheer up."

A- "How?? I couldn't bear the thought of living alone again.."

K- "But atleast you still got Matthew, right?"

A- "You know that Matthew and I live in different countries, dude.."

K- "We could still facetime eachother? Or you could visit Japan at some point."

A- "I mean.. that IS a good idea.."

Alfred spoke thoughtfully, looking back at the road ahead as he took a turn and parked the car at a lot in Starbucks. "Aight, we're here."

They got out of the car and walked into Starbucks, but as they walked in, Alfred froze in place at the sight of Ivan sitting alone, playing with his drink. Kiku stopped and looked at Alfred in concern, "Hey are you okay?" He spoke up. "Let's just play dumb and not acknowledge Ivan's prese-" Too late, Ivan already noticed.

I- "Alfred."

A- "Ivan... Hey-"

Ivan smiled sheepishly and got up from his seat, walking up to Kiku and Alfred before speaking up, "It's been a while since we've last seen each other, Alfie.. chuckle I see you've moved on already?" The Russian placed a hand on his hips, looking at Alfred curiously.

A- "Nope. He's my roommate, and best friend."

I- "A new roomie, hm? I'm guessing you're Kiku.. is that correct?"

K- "Ah.. yes."

Ivan's smiled widens, "Alfred talked about you when we're still together.." Alfred looked at Ivan as a blush crept onto his cheeks and punched his shoulder softly, "Shut it, Limey!" "Can't." Ivan snickered. As Ivan & Alfred talked, Kiku felt a pang of jealousy stirred within him.. but he brushed it off and acted like he didn't care whatsoever. The Russian laughed softly and spoke up again, "I should get going, It's been nice seeing you again." He pat Alfred's shoulder before walking out. Alfred waved goodbye and sighed, taking Kiku's hand and led them to the cashier.

"Hello! welcome to starbucks, what would you like to order, sir?" One of the employees welcomed them with a warm smile.

"Sup, dude! I would like an Americano, Large, Less ice & extra whipped cream pleasee" Alfred listed his order before turning to look at Kiku, "Do you want anything, Kiku?" He asked the Japanese.

"Hmmm.. one Okinawa Brown Sugar latte, Regular sized & Less sugar please.." Kiku spoke up what he wanted to the Starbucks cashier.

Cashier- "Mhm, anything else?"

A- "We're good, thanks."

Cashier- "That'd be 21.99$."

After getting their drinks

Alfred & Kiku walked out of Starbucks with their drinks, there was silence between them before Alfred broke it.

"Hey, Kiku..." He muttered softly, stopping in his tracks as he gazed at the Japanese. "Yes, Alfred?" Kiku also stopped, turning around to gaze him back. "Can I tell you something..?" Kiku's heart rate quickened at the question, a part of him knew that Alfred is gonna confess, but most of him isn't sure.

K- "Ah... What is it..?"

A- "I..."

Alfred paused for a bit, feeling like the words were stuck in his throat. He gulped slightly and averted his gaze from Kiku, "It's... Okay to be disgusted by my words if I tell you this but.."
