A few days have now passed and GEAU was woken up by screams. She got up immediately and ran to her parents' room. When she got there, she yanked open the door and saw that her father was sat worriedly next to her mother. Reich screamed and moved, but he was still asleep. "Go back to bed my little angel, your mom is only having a nightmare.", said the big father. "Why is mama having a nightmare?", she asked. He then admitted: "I don't know." Third Reich twitched violently before waking up. He was panting heavily and panicked. He immediately snuggled up to Soviet and GEAU came over to hug him. Third Reich snuggled now to his daughter and to his husband.
He slowly calmed down and rubbed his daughter's back to calm himself. "Mama, what did you dream?", asked the worried little girl. Reich said: "It's difficult to explain and the only one I want to share this dream with is your father. I'm sorry but I can't tell you the dream." "The main thing is that you're fine, mama!", said his daughter and hugged her mother tightly. GEAU's father asked her: "Angel, could you please go back to bed." Then she nodded and wished: "Good night!" "Good night and have a sweet dreams.", Reich wished her and kissed her on the forehead. "Sleep well!", wished her father.
As soon as she was out of the room, she left the door open a crack and listened, but since she didn't understand everything, she tried to find out something about what was going on. Reich: "She was back and has a plan to protect you and our children." Soviet: "Really?" Reich: "Yes, the only question is whether you would be able to stand it if I wasn't there for a few months and I therefore gave birth to the child without you." Soviet: "That long?!" Reich: "Darling, please be quiet or you'll wake up the children." Soviet: "Excuse me, but Reich, I can never stand it!" Reich: "I'll just write to you so we can keep in touch." Soviet: "Maybe we'll talk about it with the others tomorrow. Are you sure they aren't traitors?" Reich: "Yes, I'm sure we can trust them."
After that it was quiet again, except for a bit of mumbling that she couldn't understand, so GEAU sneaked back into the children's room and lay down, only to fall asleep after a while. The next morning she was the second to wake up and went back to her parents' room, where she lay in bed and snuggled up to her mother, who woke up shortly afterwards and hugged her. Reich kissed his daughter on the forehead and fell asleep again. GEAU got tired again and fell asleep. When she woke up she was lying between her parents and happily watched them sleep. Shortly thereafter, her father woke up and slowly stood up after he smiled briefly. GEAU freed herself from her mother's grip and ran after her father.
Soviet went into the kitchen and grabbed milk, eggs and flour from the cellar. "Angel, could you please wake up your mother in half an hour?", Soviet Union asked his daughter. "Sure!", she shouted. To which he said: "I can always count on you." That made her grin, which her father smiled at. His daughter then went back upstairs and played with her siblings who were awake. When the half hour was up, she went to her mom and kissed his cheek. Slowly he opened his eyes and smiled at her. "Papa sent me to wake you up.", she informed her mother. He nodded slightly and got up slowly, yawning briefly before asking: "Could you please go down to your father and tell him I'll be right with him?"
"Yes, I will!", she yelled and Reich started to smile. His youngest daughter ran out of the room and Reich got up. "Mama's awake and he'll be right there!", she told her father, who was sitting on a chair in the kitchen sat. He carefully picked her up from under his arms and placed her on his lap. "I knew I could count on you!", he said happily and was soon was hugged by her. He gently wrapped his arms around his daughter and kissed her on the forehead. She then snuggled even closer to him, shortly after that he had to take her of of him again as he had to take care of the meal. After that she went into the living room and turned on the radio as she wanted to listen to music.
Eventually she heard some people going downstairs, so she knew it was breakfast time. GEAU got up and walked to the dining table, where everyone slowly gathered. She quickly sat down in her place and waited until her father brought a plate with many stacked pancakes. Quickly everyone took a pancake, put it on their plate to smear jam, sugar, lemon juice and whatever else was ready on the table, cut the pancake and stuffed them in their mouths. Since GEAU was still a little too scared of the knife, her mother came to her help. The family happily ate one pancake after the next.
Some time passed before there was a knock on the door. GEAU was the first to the door and opened it, but she was surprised who she saw there. A woman with a girl and a man with a boy were standing in front of the door. She didn't know the four Countryhumans and was a bit scared and when her mother came she clung to his leg and hid a bit behind him. Reich reassured his daughter: "Everything is fine little angel, they're just old colleagues of mine." "So you're Reich's daughter, who he always talks about!", asked the woman enthusiastically. "Yes, she is, but she's a bit shy.", said Reich. He then introduced his daughter, the four of them: "The woman with the cat ears is Japanese Empire and she is here with her daughter Japan and the man is Fascist Italy and his son Italy."
"N-Nice to meet you.", she said softly, stuttering a bit. Her mother tried to calm her by telling her: "You really don't have to be scared. They also met you briefly, where you were still in my belly." Fascist Italy disagreed: "Unfortunately, we didn't get to know you at the time, but I'm very happy to see you for the first time." "I'm very happy, too!", agreed Japanese Empire. GEAU slowly approached them, whereupon she was picked up by Third Reich and she clung to him. "Besides, I'm pregnant again.", Reich informed his friends. Japanese Empire asked excitedly: "Since when?"
"I'll tell you later, but first we'd better sit down.", said Reich. They nodded and entered the house. Everyone went into the living room and sat there on one of the two sofas. Soviet came in too, shook everyone's Hand and joined them. "Japan, Italy and GEAU maybe you want to play outside with the others because you wouldn't be interested in that grown up stuff.", offered Soviet Union. The adults and the children agreed, with GEAU running ahead and the other two following. She would have liked to stay as she was always very curious and she suspected something was wrong, but for now it was nice that she went outside.
