Author's POV:

Sonam approached Namiksha with a heart full of love, hoping to start the day fresh, forgetting the troubles of the previous night. But as she opened the window, the sight of the cars outside brought back all the memories she had tried to push away.

"Namiksha, wake up," Sonam said softly.

"Didi, I'm so tired... Just a little longer, please," Namiksha mumbled, burying her face in the pillow.

"Namiksha, it's already 10 o'clock," Sonam insisted.

"What?! Why didn't you wake me up earlier? You know I have such an important meeting today!" Namiksha panicked.

"Hmmm, with that guy who dropped you home last night, right?" Sonam teased.

Namiksha, now fully awake, was puzzled by her sister's tone. After a bit of back and forth, she realized that Sonam was referring to Ruhan. What started as a silly argument soon turned into Sonam lecturing her about focussing on her career. But Namiksha quickly explained that the boy was just Richa's elder brother, who had kindly dropped her home because it was late, and he didn't want her to go alone.

"Sorry, bacha, I thought..." Sonam began, her voice softening.

"You thought what, Di? That I'd just start dating someone?" Namiksha replied, her frustration evident.

"Bacha, it's not like that," Sonam tried to explain.

"Seriously, Di, this is too much. Anyway, I don't have time for this nonsense. I need to get to college," Namiksha said, grabbing her things.

"Okay, listen, I'll drop you. I have an interview, and your college is on the way," Sonam offered.

"Fine," Namiksha agreed, still a bit annoyed.

Ruhan's Side:

"Bhai, how come you're up so early today?" Dhruv asked, surprised.

"Just had some work to do," Ruhan replied casually.

"Or are you trying to avoid dad?" Dhruv smirked.

"Ha, very funny," Ruhan retorted, rolling his eyes.

Just then, Ruhan's phone rang. It was Parth on the other line. He excitedly told Ruhan that one of their friends was finally arriving from London today. Hearing this, Ruhan's mood lifted, and he quickly got ready to go with Parth to pick up their friend.

Author's POV:

After dropping Namiksha at her college, Sonam headed towards her interview. But the day seemed to be against her. The shortcut she usually took was blocked due to construction, forcing her to take a longer route, adding another 10 kilometers to her journey. Anxiety started creeping in as the minutes ticked by, knowing how crucial this interview was for her career.
