miss missing you is one of my favourite fall out boy songs because honestly its so heartbreaking and lyrically wonderful
its like, just...so heartbreaking
fall out boy always have lyrically brilliant songs let me show you an example from this song:

i think the picket fence is a reference to the relationship being consistent and being like a guard bc fences are put around houses to keep things out
like honestly, lyrical geniuses
and also, now you're gone but i'll be okay, your hot whiskey eyes will fan the flames
i know exactly what colour they're talking about and i don't know how to feel
then there's also the famous one from this song, sometimes before it gets better, the darkness gets bigger, the person that you'd take a bullet for is behind the trigger
i think this is talking about how suddenly everything can be flipped around and suddenly your best friend can betray you
(if you've seen the video its scary patrick ((i say say scary lightly, patrick ain't scary)) chasing pete through the desert and it shows what i'm talking about with the whole best friend thing honestly go check it out its great)
