Chapter 10

{1 month later}

During this month I have been keeping up the  sessions with Matteo. He teaches me new spells and I practice them. Father visits every now and then and makes me use them on Matteo. Which I still hate doing.

I still hang out with Theo but not really on our own. Although we did visit the astronomy tower a couple times by ourselves but we haven't come close to kissing since the night James saw us.

Regulus and I are still close as ever. Along with Sirius. Although he's usually off on his own. He still makes time to hang out with me.

I've also gotten closer with Evan and Barty.

Regulus and I's birthday has passed and we celebrated with the Slytherin group. And I had my own little thing with Sirius.

Now let's get into the current moment.

Currently I am in my final class of the day waiting to be released.

Finally we're released and I lunge out of that room and head to my common room. I get stopped by a wall. Scratch that, not a wall. A Matteo.

"Hey Thena" he says with a small smile

"Hey Teo" I reply giving a smile back

"Whatcha up to" I ask him

"Well talking to you now" he responds looking straight ahead.

"Well I'm bored. Let's do something until dinner" I suggest

"Like what" he asks with a raised eyebrow looking at me

"Idk maybe go for a walk" I reply looking into his eyes. Once again I'm lost in those dark brown eyes. We stay staring at each other untill he breaks the contact.

"Alright. Let's take a walk shall we" he says gesturing to outside.

I join him and we walk to hogsmade to hang out.

"So um. How's Theo" Matteo asks me sipping on his butterbeer

"Why do you ask" I say

"Just curious." He replies

"We're doing fine. Haven't really hung out more than a couple times but he's nice" I say sipping my drink

"Athena this may sound weird but...." He starts to talk

Until he is interrupted by a lady screaming. We turn to look at what happens and see. My father.

Matteo grabs me and holds me close to him. I like when he holds me.

"Athena. Matteo. You are needed this instant." He says looking at us. He just threw a lady into a wall. Which caused the screaming

We stay put. Matteo with a firm grasp onto me. Afraid I'd disappear.

"I don't have all day" he says coming over and grabbing the both of us. Which teleports us to. My house.

"Everyone is waiting." Father says pushing open the doors to the dining room. And there we see all of the death eaters and Voldemort. My breath hitches when I look at him.

"Ah Orion. Thank you for delivering them to me" Voldemort says as my father sits down beside him.

"Matteo. Take a seat. And you must be Athena" he replies sitting up straight.

"Yes" I answer

"So you're a brave little one. Brave enough to speak to me" he says

I say nothing back as there is nothing to say back.
