Goin' camping

Chapter 2

Today we are going to the beach at the lake to go swimming. They boys are arriving today and I'm excited to meet the guy Karly and the guys invited.... We go down to our cabin to unpack and get ready to go to the water and meet the boys. They are in a cabin next door but their are only a few windows in the cabin and we wanted it to be a surprise of who the boy was ! Me Karly and Em all got changed into our bathing suits and went down to the water about 10 minutes later the boys came down to the water . I didn't notice because I was out in like the middle of the lake swimming with Em . Karly decided to wait for the boys . Me and Em were getting our tan on floating on tubes with our sunglasses on and our Walmart bathing suits! We sat out their for about a half and hour before we decided to have Karly pull us in from the rope tied to our tubes so we couldn't float way from each other and so we didn't drift off while tanning... Their were so many waves it made it hard to stay still . It was a nice day for speed boats to go out and ride all day .. Personally I don't like boats I just fall asleep on them . It took her 10 minutes for her to pull us both inside .. When we got pulled in the boys had just gone and went to get some soda from the near by gas station about 4 miles down the road ... They took a car so it shouldn't be that long until their back... They got back about 10 minutes later I got to greet the two boys from our school but the other had gone to the bath room quickly.... Karlys boyfriends name was Skylar and ems boyfriends name was Shawn... They were nice boys .... Finally the "other boy " came down the hill and ... Oh my lawrd... He was the so cute .... He was about 5'8 , nice smile , seemed like he knew how to take care of his self and looked nice .... He came down the hill and we locked eyes for a few seconds ... He went over and hugged Karly first and said hello and then Em and said hi and then on to me ... We shook hands and then we hugged... He was so cuddly and soft ... He smelt good to.... We looked at each other and that's when I realized I had a crush on him.... He then said hi my name is Ethan you must be Dallas.... He knew my name .... But how .... I just learned his name how did he already know mine ..... I was nervous I would say something really dumb .... I said " yea haha I am " . Ugh I couldn't of come up with something more not dumb .... It was okay though because it wasn't the worst I could of said...we all hung out their until about id like to say about 12:30 ish . Then we all headed to a little restaurant called key largo on the other side of the lake near Amsterdam.. We went and we all had some hot dogs and burgers at the Hawaii themed restaurant ...... We then had some ice cream and played a little frisbee in the back on the grass.... After that me stopped at my grandmas which was right down the road to grab the paddle boat for the rest of the day.... We got that all tied up and headed back to the camp grounds....when we got back I went to take the paddle boat off the top of my jeep that I had gotten for an early graduation present even thought I couldn't drive yet ...... Just as I started to undo the fasteners Ethan came on over and asked if I wanted help... I said yes thank you ... He said no problem .... I was glad he asked I mean I really didn't want to undo it all by myself .... The boat was really heavy .... We un-did it and carried it Indian style( over the head ) to the water ... We asked if anyone else wanted to go out on the paddle boat and they all said no ...( they were all to busy with the boys anyway) ... So me and Ethan went out all by our selfs . We talked about what we were like and what our jobs were and where we go to school .. He went to hoosic valley ... Not that far from where I live I thought .... We talked about anything and everything .... By the time we got out to where we had to turn back I thought I had known him for his whole life when it was only 1 hour we were their .... On the way back we kinda just let the water drift is a bit closer to our camp and talked about more stuff.... When we got back it was about 3-4 o'clock ... Everyone was inside watching TV or playing on their phones so we decided to stay out side and we kinda just sat in the hammock about 20 feet from the water .... Sooner or later we fell asleep . We were woken up at about 7 o'clock it was still bright so we thought it was only about 5 ish so we laughed a bit . Then we took into reality what time it was and we went inside and had dinner ... We had turkey sandwiches and gold fish! The turkey was one that the boys hunted about 19 hours ago ... That's why they were late... After that we all sat around a fire Karly and skylar Em and Shawn and me and Ethan ... Each " couple " in their own little two person blanket... We sat their for a while and listen to so country music from before 2010... We also roasted marshmallows and sat and laughed at the stupidest things in the world... That night we went to out cabins and we fell asleep ... That was until I was woken up by Ethan whispering my name haha... We went on a night swim and stayed in until about 1:30 then we went back to our cabins and fell asleep till morning !
