"It looks like you are... A winner!"

Vee leans forward, smiling at the kid from her stage. The kid beams back, nearly squeaking in excitement.

"So, what's my prize?" They say. Clasping their hands together, making a please face.

"Well, let's see..." Vee rustles through a chest that can conveniently appear from under the stage, "You've won... a Dandy plush!" Her grin is more forced than genuine now. 

The kid cheers as they get handed the plush, running off and holding it high up.

"Phew, is that the last one?" Vee mumbles to herself, looking around for another kid. No other kids are in sight, so she walks off the stage to the door, flipping the small sign to show 'closed' to those who walk nearby, and locks the door for good measure. She walks towards the door leading to the toon rooms.

Vee trudges into the toon commons, visibly drained. Part of her face is buffering, and not keeping up with the other half. Looking into the kitchen, she sees Shelly sitting at a table alone. 

Shelly sees her, and waves, inviting Vee over. Vee almost immediately brightens up, the other half of her face catching up as she smiles and walks over, regaining composure. 

"Hey Vee! How was the game show?" Shelly's as cheery as ever, her smile seems like the brightest thing in the room.

"Oh, hey Shelly," Vee says, smiling back, "it was... fine, you know how many Dandy plushes are in that prize box? Too many."

Shelly snorts, giggling. She can't help but giggle too, laughter is contagious, after all.

"Hey, I was wondering if you'd want to have a sleepover." Shelly breaks the laughter cloud, resting her head on her hand. 

"Yeah, sure, when d'you think-" Vee starts, already prepping a mental calendar to see when it would work. 

"Tonight," Shelly cuts her off, voice decisive, "I want a sleepover tonight. You're already so busy that it would take months to plan a sleepover otherwise!" She tries to sound exasperated but nearly starts laughing again. 

Vee stares, confused. She hesitates, trying to figure out how to navigate this.

"But don't we have work tomorr-" Vee's confused, after all, they have work nearly every day.

"That doesn't matter! Stop being serious for one night, it's not like the whole center will shut down if you are late to work tomorrow! Plus, sleepovers are fun!" Shelly nearly jumps across the table, holding Vee's hands in her own. She bounces up and down pleadingly, and Vee has not choice but to say no. After all, Shelly's right. She can relax for one night.

Shelly's room was already set up for a sleepover, books in the corner, a pillow for is set up the middle of the room. It's clear that Shelly was planning to ask Vee to a sleepover fora while.

"Did you make Astro help you build a pillow fort?" Vee asks, looking at Shelly.

"I'm not telling! He might've helped me a little bit, but that's besides the point!" She yells, but Vee can see her smiling.

Shelly takes Vee's hand, leading her like a princess to the pillow fort. The two sit down, and she grabs a blanket, putting it over the pair's shoulders. The blanket is large and soft, with patterns of dinosaurs on it.
