Chapter three.

Marlena remained in John's arms, his hands continuing to rub her back with gentle soothing caresses and whispering tender endearments.

making her feel as only he could, safe and completely loved, though the meaning of feeling safe in his arms.

John, promise me that you’ll
never leave me.

Marlena said to her husband.

Never Doc, never.

John said as he looked at Marlena and he saw that she was fast sleep on his chest.

John smiled and he  kissed the top of Marlena's head.

I love you, Doc.

john told his wife.

Marlena had been sleeping comfortably in John's arms,
for some time now.

John heard a soft knock at the door, Marlena had only stirred a little bit.

John seen the door slowly open.

Bo and roman awalked into the room and they saw marlena was sleeping in John's arms.

"John, it's good to see you, I am
glad that you are doing better.

Roman told his friend.

it's good to have you back, man.

Bo told his friend.

Thanks you, guys.

John told his friends.

John, can you identify the parson that shot you?.

Roman asked him.

I don't remember who shot me,
i just remember doc, called me on cell phone, she what me to come by her office and i told her i will see her in a few minutes.

John told his friends.

Damn, But the important thing
is that you are back with us.

Roman told his friend.

John, you take care, all right?,
Take care and heal up, and we'll talk at you later, All right, buddy. Take care.

Roman said before he and Bo leave the room.

John felt marlena stirred in his arms.

Marlena open her eyes and she looked up at her husband.

Hi.

Marlena said to her husband as she smiled at him.

Hi, beautiful, how did you sleep?.

John asked his wife.

Very well, how are you feeling?

Marlena asked her husband.

I feel much better.

John replied.

That good.

Marlena said as she was hit with
of morning sickness.

Marlena quickly got out of the hospital bed and she rushed to the bathroom that in John's room and she closed the door shut.

John can hear Marlena getting sick in the bathroom.

John felt helpless that he can't comfort his wife, because he
was took up to a IV and machines.

Few minutes later marlena walked out of the bedroom and then she walked over to John’s hospital bed.
