{6} Fulfilling day

Tossing n' turning in the dim of the night,
Anxiously awaiting the sunlit display,
Bashful in his paranoid gaze.

It rose an hour too late,
when I let go and allowed sleep to glow.

Stolen into his teasing fingers from existence,
souring my emotions and leaving me dizzier.

Dayrise's wry fingers pull back,
clouds disapproving and frowning upon my utmost desires.

I hailed the souls,
that heralded my reality.
They kissed me blissed into the new day.

Curtsies to the dresses that graced my skin,
although cherished, helpless to my glaring indecision.

They may not satisfy him,
nevertheless, I love them.
Didn't command his hovering avidity
attention, ignorant I chose them.

Soon I graced the hallways,
In my treasured design.
Cursing secretly at his absence
of reason.

Responsible for my feigning commitment,
In scribbles of disdain.
For the approving smiles of a demanding world.

I'm a good and charming model.
If only he knew he partook in it all.

Soon enraptured by his touch,
I craved more.
He gave me his assuring smile,
leaving the world with nothing but a brooding frown.

In his arms,
with the promise of indeed,
A fulfilling day
