Tsukasa POVI remember we were cleaning after school in an almost empty classroom, the only thing you could hear was the rain...which just made me even more uneasy.
I still don't understand why that was."It's cloudy outside, huh?" I said staring out the classroom window, while resting my chin upon my hand.
"I mean...yeah kinda? Not much different from the weather we've had all week though." she said while continuing to sweep the wooden floors.
"Hm... I don't know. It just feels...different than usual today." I said with a sigh
Despite that, she didn't respond. Did she even need to? Probably not. I was just overthinking. We finished cleaning, meaning it was time to bid farewell to Kamakou class 3-B's classroom. It just felt so surreal, three years gone by just like that.
"I have successfully graduated middle school without failing any of my test, I think that's a pretty amazing accomplishment!" Aiko said with a smug smile that lit up the entire room. I could feel my heart beating faster then usual, but I decided to ignore it. After all, it would be pointless to tell her.
"...hey Aiko...remember that manga you were working on? Are you still planning on selling it an *Fuyucomi?" I asked with a hint of hesitation
(*Fuyucomi is a famous winter comic market in Japan*)
"Well that's a bit random...um...
I kinda gave up on making manga.
My stories are generic, lazy, lacks emotion, untalented...not to mention the mistakes and plot holes...it's just not good enough." She said with dissatisfactionThen why did you look like you had so much fun making them, I thought to myself
"Aiko, you really need to have more confidence.
I don't think most people will notice the things you consider "mistakes"
Your manga will ever be perfect, because perfect simply doesn't exist.
So...don't give up until you try" I said"Man, I wish I could think that way too...
I just simply lacked the confidence to do so unfortunately." she said with a laughWhy did that laugh made my heart ache?
Why...does she not see how amazing she truly is"...Tsukasa-kun...you said you were planning on going to Mizumiya, for voice acting classes, correct?" Aiko asked.
"Yeah, I am...?" I said, a bit confused
"Well...Fuyucomi is still a few months away. If it sells well, becomes popular, and gets an anime adaption...
She hesitated
I'd like you to voice one of the characters" She said"pfttt hahaha, wow quite ambitious aren't you?
that's not a lot of time..." I said with doubt"Ugh you're the worst...It's not like you've got that much time either!
You've only landed small roles in anime, I doubt you'll become a popular enough voice actor anyways..." She remarked"...well maybe you're right about that. But...I still have some time to improve until then, so just wait until that day comes" I said with a smile
