Nagi's POV:

Walking along the hallway, suddenly, I felt someone bump into me, I looked up to see a student I don't know.

"Ah, sorry." I said quickly

"No worries man!" He says with a laugh

He glances to my right, looking over at Aiko

"Haha, I was looking for you Yumehiro-san!
I was wondering if you'd have a quick chat with me~?" He asked in a suspicious manner

"Huh...about what? I'm actually headed over to a friend's classroom right now, but I guess I can spare a moment. I'm a new transfer student so I'm not sure if I can help really..." she said in a confused tone

Aiko can be an idiot sometimes, she doesn't pick up on when people are flirting with her.

"Well...it's not something I can really ask out in the open, but hm~ for you my love, I'll make an exception~" he saids

I glance over at Aiko. It seems like she's not uncomfortable since I'm here, but she should really have her guard up.

The students leans over to Aiko, and whispers something in her ear. I don't know what he said exactly, but Aiko definitely was uncomfortable by it.
This guy is definitely bad news if he's being this bold.

I put my arm in front of Aiko, to be a barrier between them.

"Hey bud, back off will ya?" I said aggressively

"Hey now, I didn't say anything worth getting that upset over. After all, you don't even like her like that anyways, right? There's someone else in your heart...and you wouldn't want that little secret to get out hm? So you'll leave us to it won't you?" He said with a smirk

How the hell did he know about that...? Agh, that doesn't even matter right now, what's most important it to get Aiko away from him.

He moves my arm, then grabs Aiko's shoulder

"Come along my love, you have some time to spare no~?" He says

I know this won't end well, but I couldn't help it.
Before I knew it, I punched him, and he fell to the ground.

He quickly gets up and says "ha, wow you sure are persistent. Guess I'll have to deal with you after all"

"Aiko, go grab a teacher and I'll-"

Unexpectedly...Aiko pushes me aside, and punches him as well. Causing him to fall down yet again

"Man Nagi-kun, you sure can be an idiot. I appreciate the thought, but I can handle myself." She says

She walks over to the student, and grabs his tie.

"Hey you...does love only consist of lust to you?
Getting as many girls as you can, hoping just one of them can make your desires a reality? Is that really what you want?" She asks sternly

"...you're different." He says with a genuine smile, and a little blush

It's as if he almost fell in love with her. Genuinely, and not as a game. As if he never saw love as a possibility.

"...huh...what the heck?? Different how?" Aiko asked confused

"Hm...it's nothing...I'll leave you be, Yumehiro-san. I should probably go to the nurses office considering how hard you punched me haha" he said

He begins to walk off, but Aiko then asks a question.

"Hey...what's your name?" Aiko asked

"...You want to know my name?" He asked genuinely surprised

"I mean yeah, that's why I asked..." she said

"Hasagawa...it's Hasagawa Haruto..." he says

"Well Hasegawa-san...next time you approach a girl...just try to be friends first." Aiko said

Hasegawa-san smiled

"Right" he said
Then proceeds to walk to the nurses office.

What the hell just happened, I thought to myself. Suddenly, the bell rang, meaning it was time to go back to our classes...

"Uh...see you after school I guess?" I said to Aiko

"Ahaha...seems so"
