Chapter Fourteen: "The Moment of Truth"
Season Two, Episode Four"Sam,"
Christian sighed, when he saw his ex girlfriend walking with Layla towards the supermarket, the same one that Sam knew her ex boyfriend goes to, "Christian, hi." Samantha looked at her ex boyfriend.
To say that she didn't miss him was an understatement cause the way he was looking at her now, was making her feel bad about how they ended.
"Hi, Christian." Layla smiled at her friend that she hadn't seen since her and Miguel had broken up, "Layla, hey." He smiled at where she stood, clearing his throat when seeing his mother finding him, "I gotta go," He replied, moving past the two girls to where his mother was.
Christina looked at her son, "Was that Sam?" She asked her son, looking over his shoulder at where her son's ex girlfriend had gone, "It was," Christian responded, "Have you two made up or—"
Christian shook his head, "No, mom, I think that ship has sailed, she's still mad at me," He admitted to his mother who frowned at her son's state, "Come on, let's go find some ice cream. I know that always cheers you up." Christina leads her son away as he took one last glance in the direction of where Sam was, not seeing the girl.
He knew he needed to get over her, "Hey." The blonde. The same blonde headed girl he had saw at the Valley Fest was the one to scan his and his mom's shopping, "Hey." Christian smiled back, "Weren't you at Valley Fest?" He asked the blonde who was bagging up their shopping, "I was. I saw your demo."
Christian hummed at that, "You should come by the dojo," He said to the blonde who quirked an eyebrow, "Only if you want to, obviously." He said stumbling over his words as his mother smiled, seeing her son trying to flirt with the cashier, "Maybe I will."
Christian smiled at that, "All right," His mother payed for the shopping when the girl whose name was Tory, had told them the total price, "Thank you." Christina smiled at the blonde.
"Alright," Christina mocked looking at her son who got the shopping bags from his mom's hands and into his own, walking behind her, shaking his head at the interaction that just happened, "If that was you tryna flirt, your dad needs to give you some pointers." His mother teased as Christian rolled his eyes, sitting in the passenger seat, "I don't need pointers from dad, mom."
"Sure you don't, honey."
His mother continued to tease him all the way until they made it back home with Christian putting the shopping away.

"I told her to come by—" Christian said when his Sensei stopped his and Hawk's conversation, "Listen up!" He yelled, gaining their attention as Christian looked at front of the dojo, "I see we've got some new recruits. Everybody, fall in! In neat rows and lines."
