You pushed yourself off the bed, landing on the solid wooden floor with a thunking sound. Laying there for a moment, rays of sunlight from the window seeped into your room and began to blind your eyes while you tried to recall why you were on the ground in the first place.
As your once blurred vision came back, you then realised loud banging noises were coming from the front door, it had been going on for a while, only you hadn't payed any of your mind to it up until now.
You let out a breath of frustration, annoyed you were woken up early on a day where you could have actually slept in for once, and then you decided to just deal with it.
Using all of the strength you had left inside of you, which let's be honest won't really be a whole lot, you lifted your groggy self off the ground, stumbling over your feet for a bit until you were able to stand steady.
Using anything around to support your tired body, you trudged to the front door, back hunched and eye lids still half open, not really paying attention to your surroundings.
Grabbing your keys and fumbling around with the lock, you heard a click and swung the door open, nearly hitting your head in the act.
The visitor wasn't welcomed with the prettiest sight to see, dull skin and bed hair still not tidied up, not really one of your best days to be honest.
