You pushed yourself off the bed, landing on the solid wooden floor with a thunking sound. Laying there for a moment, rays of sunlight from the window seeped into your room and began to blind your eyes while you tried to recall why you were on the ground in the first place.
It was as if yesterday's events were replaying all over again.
You then noticed your obnoxious and loud ring tone playing in the background, like it was the theme tune for the exact same obnoxious and loud person.
Too lazy to get up, you practically did an unusual mix of rolling and crawling to reach your bed side table, phone basically hanging off the edge, almost about to fall and crack at any given moment.
Snatching the device off the desk (and hitting your funny bone in the process) you swiftly answered the call to shut your stupid ring tone up, seems like you'd have to change that soon.
Unfortunately, you forgot to check a very important detail, the caller ID, and you didn't even notice it was classed as unknown until an unfamiliar voice came from the other end of the line.
Surprised, you cautiously backed your ear away from your mobile, squinting at the screen to identify this mysterious caller.
