Joshua and Seokmin stumbled into the flat, laughing as they fumbled with the keys. The party had been a blur of music, laughter, and drinks that flowed far too freely. They were both drunk but still aware of each other, of the heat between them, and of the pull that had been building up all night.

As soon as the door shut behind them, Joshua turned to Seokmin, his eyes dark with desire. He leaned in, their lips crashing together in a wet kiss. It was exhilarating, almost desperate, as if they were trying to consume each other. Joshua's hands gripped Seokmin's waist, pulling him closer, while Seokmin's fingers tangled in Joshua's hair, tugging slightly, eliciting a low groan from him.

Their kiss was filled with passion, tongues exploring, breath mingling, until Joshua pulled back, panting slightly, his lips swollen from their fervour. ❝Wanna try something new?❞ Joshua asked, his voice a low whisper that sent a shiver down Seokmin's spine.

Seokmin's eyes were wide with curiosity and excitement. ❝What do you have in mind?❞ he asked, breathless, his heart pounding in anticipation.

Joshua's lips curled into a mischievous smile as he walked over to a small cabinet in the corner of the living room. He reached into a hidden compartment at the back and pulled out a small, carefully wrapped package. He turned to Seokmin, his eyes gleaming with a mix of excitement and something darker.

❝Magic mushrooms,❞ Joshua said, unwrapping the package to reveal small, dried fungi. ❝Also known as shrooms.❞

Seokmin's curiosity piqued even more as he looked at the small, shrivelled mushrooms. ❝I've heard of them, but never tried them,❞ he admitted, his voice laced with both eagerness and a hint of nervousness. ❝What do they do?❞

Joshua stepped closer, holding one up between his fingers. ❝They make you see things, feel things... It's like opening a door to another world. A trip, if you will.❞

Seokmin bit his lip, a giggle escaping him as he nodded. ❝Let's do it,❞ he said, the excitement bubbling up in his chest. The idea of trying something new, something unknown, thrilled him.

Joshua grinned, his eyes shining with anticipation. He handed Seokmin a few of the dried mushrooms and took some for himself. ❝Cheers,❞ Joshua said, raising the mushrooms in a mock toast before tossing them into his mouth, chewing quickly.

Seokmin followed suit, the earthy, slightly bitter taste of the mushrooms surprising him. He made a face but swallowed them down, chasing them with a sip of water. They sat on the couch, the room still spinning slightly from the alcohol, but now with a sense of expectant energy buzzing between them.

It didn't take long for the effects to start creeping in. About thirty minutes later, Seokmin was the first to notice something was different. The edges of his vision began to blur, colours becoming more vibrant and alive, almost pulsating with energy. He blinked, trying to focus, but the room around him seemed to breathe, the walls gently expanding and contracting like they were alive.

❝Joshua... the walls... they're moving,❞ Seokmin whispered, his voice full of wonder and a bit of unease. He reached out, his hand hovering in the air, trying to touch the shifting patterns on the wall. The texture of the air felt different too, thick and velvety against his skin.

Joshua turned to look at him, and Seokmin gasped softly. Joshua's face seemed to change, not in a scary way, but in a fluid, almost ethereal manner. His features melted and reformed, shifting like liquid, his eyes glowing with a soft light that made him look otherworldly.

❝I see it too,❞ Joshua murmured, his voice sounding distant, like it was echoing from a faraway place. He watched Seokmin with a strange intensity, his pupils blown wide. ❝You're glowing, Seokmin. Like... like you're made of light.❞

Seokmin giggled, the sound bubbling up from his chest as he looked down at his hands. They were indeed glowing, a soft, warm light emanating from his skin, casting gentle shadows that danced across the room. He wiggled his fingers, watching the light play and shift, feeling an overwhelming sense of connection to everything around him. It was like the universe was inside him, and he was a part of it.

Joshua was having his own trip, the room around him dissolving into swirling colours and patterns, shapes forming and then breaking apart, only to reassemble into something entirely different. He could hear music, though there was none playing-a soft, melodic tune that seemed to come from within his own mind, synchronised with the colours he was seeing.

The two of them were lost in their own worlds, but occasionally their eyes would meet, and they'd share a laugh or a smile, the connection between them more profound than ever. They were a beautiful mess, tangled in each other and the reality that was rapidly dissolving around them. Every touch sent shivers through their bodies, the sensations amplified by the mushrooms coursing through their systems.

Time became meaningless as they floated in and out of different realities, their senses overwhelmed by the experience. At some point, they ended up lying on the floor, staring at the ceiling that seemed to stretch endlessly into the cosmos, their hands intertwined.

Seokmin sighed contentedly, his voice a dreamy whisper. ❝We'll probably regret this in the morning, won't we?❞

Joshua chuckled softly, his eyes half-closed as he nodded. ❝Probably... But right now... I don't care. I just want to stay here, in this moment, with you.❞

And so they did, surrendering completely to the experience, knowing that the night would eventually end, but for now, they were content to just be-lost together in a world that was theirs alone.
