Joshua and Seokmin had been dating for just over a year now. Their relationship was a blend of warmth, laughter, and the occasional argument like any other couple. But underneath the surface, something else was brewing; an undercurrent of tension that neither of them fully acknowledged.

Seokmin was naturally kind-hearted. His smile was bright enough to light up any room, and he had a way of making people feel comfortable and cared for. Whether it was helping someone carry their groceries or listening patiently as a friend vented their frustrations, Seokmin's empathy knew no bounds. It was one of the things that Joshua had fallen in love with-how could he not? Seokmin's kindness was intoxicating, like a warm embrace on a cold day.

But as their relationship deepened, Joshua started to notice how Seokmin's kindness extended to everyone around him, and that bothered him more than he cared to admit. It wasn't that he didn't appreciate Seokmin's good nature, but the way others gravitated towards him made Joshua feel uneasy. The way strangers would flash Seokmin grateful smiles or the way his friends would hug him a little too long for Joshua's liking-it all stirred something dark inside him.

He tried to ignore it at first, brushing it off as simple insecurity. But as time went on, the jealousy festered. Joshua would find himself glaring at anyone who looked at Seokmin a little too warmly, his hands clenching into fists whenever Seokmin would offer his help to someone else.

Joshua watched Seokmin from across the school hallway, his eyes narrowing as he saw his boyfriend laughing with a group of classmates. Seokmin's smile was radiant, lighting up the space around him, as he helped one of the girls pick up her dropped books. It was a small act of kindness, one of the many reasons Joshua had fallen for him in the first place. But as time went on, that very kindness started to gnaw at Joshua's heart.

The warmth Seokmin showed to everyone else, the way he made people feel special-it was too much. Joshua knew Seokmin was his, but the way Seokmin treated others with the same tenderness made jealousy churn in his chest. Why couldn't Seokmin save those smiles for him alone?

Unable to hold back any longer, Joshua stalked over, the jealousy burning inside him like a wildfire. Seokmin looked up, his expression softening when he saw Joshua. ❝Hey, Joshua-❞ Seokmin began, but Joshua didn't let him finish.

Grabbing Seokmin by the wrist, Joshua pulled him away from the others, leading him down a deserted hallway. The moment they were alone, he pushed Seokmin against the wall, pinning him there. Seokmin's eyes widened in surprise, but before he could say a word, Joshua crashed his lips against Seokmin's.

The kiss was intense, a mix of frustration, need, and possessiveness. Joshua's hands gripped Seokmin's shoulders, holding him in place as if he was afraid Seokmin would disappear if he let go. Seokmin didn't resist, though. Instead, he slowly brought his hands up to Joshua's waist, trying to calm the storm he felt in Joshua's touch.
