SOULBOUND

INTERVIEW

The day of the interview arrived and Eliora nervously sat in the office, her hands clenching and unclenching in her lap. She had spent days preparing for this interview, but nothing could have prepared her for the intimidating presence of the man who sat across from her. The CEO had a cold, aloof aura about him, his gaze never leaving the system in front of him as he spoke.

"You're here for the personal assistant position," he stated, his voice cool and detached. Eliora swallowed hard, gathering her courage and straightening her spine slightly. "Yes, that's correct," she replied, her voice steady despite her nerves. The man's gaze still lingering on his system paying her no serious attention.

The CEO regarding her with skepticism asks. "And what makes you think you're qualified for such a demanding role?" Eliora held her head up high despite his nonchalant attitude "I have excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of efficiently handling multiple tasks at once," she responded, her tone firm and confident.

The man stopped typing on his computer as if contemplating before finally looking up and the sight in front of him wasn't what he expected. She is absolutely stunning, her chocolaty skin radiating in the light, her long 4c hair carefully styled in a formal manner, her brown eyes shiny in the sunlight. His eyes roaming over her body taking in her curves and how the fabric cling to her body.

"Your name and age" the man stated his voice cold, his eyes still on her taking in every single detail of her body. "My name's Eliora and I'm 24 years old" she said fidgeting in her seat at the man's sudden and sharp gaze. "You're hired" the man stated before dropping his eyes back to his system. "The secretary will give you all the necessary information and my schedule, you may leave"

"Okay, thank you" she said carefully getting up and heading to the door. He's gaze lingering on her once more as she walked away, his eyes taking in the way her hips swayed the way her legs moved as she walked out. As the door closed shut he thought -who is this woman, why do I feel such a sense of familiarity after seeing her for the first time, how was she this beautiful.

Eliora walked out of the office with a huge smile on her face as she made her to the secretary. As she stepped into the office she was greeted with curios gaze of Vanessa, "Eliora how did it go" she asked her voice filled with worry and curiosity. There was a moment of silence before Eliora spoke "I got the job". Vanessa squealed in response "OMG I'm so happy for you" she replied basically jumping up and down.

"Okay here's all the information you need" Vanessa said sitting down and gesturing for Eliora to take a seat "so his name is Xildan Cross, as you know he's the CEO but his grandmother owns the company she's his only surviving relative and he cherish her dearly, his rest family died in a plan crash, he's 26 years old" Eliora listened taking in all the information.

"He has a very busy schedule I'll send a copy of it to you now, and one major thing you always have to show up even if he needs you in the middle of the night, on Christmas or even on your  birthday you have to show up" Eliora pondered for a second before nodding in agreement.

"Good, he expects you to start work from tomorrow" Vanessa stated with a smile clearly happy that her friend got the job. "I hope the pay is worth all this" Eliora blurted out with a slight laugh. "Of course it is, he even gives huge tips if you perform well" Vanessa stated her voice nearly a whisper "From what I've seen that the only advantage so far" Eliora said getting up from her chair .

"I'll see you tomorrow then, I have to go prepare" 

"Ohh and I'll give him your number so he might contact you today for you to know it him" Vanessa stated. "Okay I'll be expecting his call" Eliora said before heading to the door and waving her friend goodbye.

She got home and immediately plopped on the bed, her mind kept wandering of to the CEO. His deep black hair, how his muscles flexed under his suit like they where being suffocated, his huge body frame, how his eyes wondered about her body, his tall frame which was obvious even as he sat down. He was by far the most handsome man she had laid eyes on.

She immediately shook her head as if trying to calm her mind from wandering but there was something about him, something she couldn't put her finger on, it felt like she knew him at the same time didn't. The sound of her phone ringing snapped her out of her thoughts. The caller ID unknown so she hesitated before picking up the call.

"Hello" she said with a calm voice waiting for the voice on the other end to reply. "Is that how you address your new boss eh princess" Xildan responded with a sly smirk on his face.  She took a deep breath to calm herself before replying "Oh sorry about that sir, I didn't realize you were the one" she could hear him scoff from his end of the phone before he replied "I need you at my place by 6 am sharp tomorrow morning , don't be late". She was stunned by his orders "6am, isn't too early sir" she said clearly getting annoyed.

"I'll send you the address" he said clearly ignoring her protest. " But sir..." she said wanting to protest more but he ended the call. True to his words he had sent her the location, she looked at it with disbelief in her eyes -who the fuck asks their PA to come to their house at 6am on their first day.
