After having dinner along with the family , Vaidehi settled into her new home. Vikramaditya helped her to arrange her stuff. The room was adorned with the fresh scents of jasmine and sandalwood and the air was filled with a gentle yet soothing warmth.
Vikramaditya leaned against the doorframe, watching Vaidehi as she arranged a vase of flowers on the bedside table.
( Vikramaditya : neeku oka nijam cheppana ? Nenu inka idhi nammaleka pothunna. )
Vikramaditya : You know something ? I still can't believe we're finally here.
Vikramaditya told with his voice filled with warmth and love.
Vaidehi looked up from the flowers and her eyes met his with a shy smile.
( vaidehi : Kala la undhi kadha ? )
Vaidehi : It feels like a dream, doesn't it ?
she replied with her voice soft and filled with wonder.
( Vaidehi : kaani idhi nijam. Nuvvu nijamga naatho unnav. )
Vaidehi : but you're really here, and this is really happening.
Vikramaditya's smile widened as he walked over to her. He gently tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
( Vikramaditya : oka vela idhi kala ayithey assalu nidra levanu nenu. )
Vikramaditya : I wouldn't want to wake up from this dream.
he said with his tone filled with tenderness.
( Vikramaditya : nenu eeroju kosam entha edhuru choosano telusa ? )
Vikramaditya : I've been waiting for this day, for us to start our life together.
Vaidehi's heart fluttered at his touch. She reached out and took his hand, guiding him to sit beside her on the edge of the bed.
( Vaidehi : nenu kuda . )
Vaidehi : Me too.
she said by squeezing his hand lightly.
( Vaidehi : nenu neetho kalisi jeevinchadam elaa untundhoo ani oohinchukune daanni. Ippudu adhi nijam ayyindhi. )
Vaidehi : I've always imagined what it would be like to share my life with you, and now it's real.
Vikramaditya settled next to her and his arm naturally draping around her shoulders.
( Vikramaditya : nuvvu oohinchukunnattey undha ? )
Vikramaditya : How are you feeling ?
he asked with his voice filled with genuine concern.
( Vikramaditya : ilaa kotha jeevitham antey edho la undhi kadha neeku ? Kotha illu ! Kotha gadhi ! )
Vikramaditya : It must be overwhelming, all of this change. New room ! New house !
Vaidehi leaned into him by feeling the comforting strength of his embrace.
( vaidehi : koncham ! )
Vaidehi : It is a bit overwhelming.
she admitted,
( Vaidehi : kaani ee kothadhanam kuda bagundhi. Neetho ilaa unda galatam naa adhrustham. )
Vaidehi : but it's also incredibly beautiful. I feel so lucky to be here with you.
They sat there in a comfortable silence by simply enjoying each other's presence. After a while Vikramaditya broke the quiet with a soft chuckle.
