Kiss me

  I woke up, I was so excited that everything is going good for the first time in my life I feel like doing what I want, doing what I like, Chris pick me up, and we went to the big theatre of Monaco, where it's going to be the rehearsals for the opening night, there was dancers, singers, and painters everywhere.

  I was setting at the reception and everybody is asking about Paul, it's almost 11am and he's not here yet, I called Paul's assistant she was at the office.

The assistant: hello!

Me: hey! It's Amy

The assistant: Is everything is fine?

Me : yes, it's just that everybody is asking about Paul, and he's not here yet, I'm trying to call him I just can't reach him, is he there

The assistant: No actually Paul is in a mission in Paris, you're in charge of everything now, and if you need anything ask me.

Me: oh my god, ok, thank you, talk to you later.

The assistant: good bye

I texted Chris with the news, meanwhile I got an email from Paul,

Amy, from now on you and Chris are in charge of everything in that festival until I come back I'll be connected with you on the phone or by email, if you couldn't reach me contact my assistant she's in charge of a lot of things too, she's willing to help you.

Your mission for today is to stay at the theatre, talk to journalists, and see if everybody is ready for the opening show. I like your vision on shows I want you to focus on rehearsals and give your opinion if you see something wrong.

I felt really happy; finally someone trusts my abilities. Chris is coming toward me.

Chris: Did you get the news?

Me: hello! Are you out of your mind, I'm the one who told you!

Chris: Yes I mean, are you ok with that!

Me: yes I'm fine we're going to do it.

Chris: Yes, sure.

One of the staff members came

Staff member 1: hey guys, where is Mr. Paul I didn't see him today?

Chris: he's not here for now!

Me: Do you need something?

Staff member 1: yes, actually I'm in charge of the competition registrations and I need to know if the participants are allowed to be in the opening ceremony tonight or they have to buy tickets.

Me: Chris do you have any idea about this?

Chris: I think they are allowed to.

Me:Do you think, or you know? You know what! Can you remind me about that later before we start I'm going to find a solution.

The staff member left, there was a girl helping me she left too, it was just me and Chris at the reception, he looked at me in a weird way, he was staring actually, I thought there is something wrong in me.

Chris: Can I tell you something?

Me: what! Yes sure, what is it!

He moved closer, and he talked slowly, softly in a low voice.

Chris: you look stunning today.

Oh my god is he serious, what should I say now, Sara is not here to tell me what to do.

Me: thank you, you look cute too.

Did I just tell him that he looks cute, what am I doing!

Me: I'll go to see the rehearsals, Paul asked me to modify things I didn't like.

Chris: Ok see you around.

I went to see the rehearsals, dancers were on the stage and there was some guitarists waiting for their turn, I noticed that they are not using the lights, I took the microphone and I asked them.

Me: Guys ,I appreciate what you're doing, but that's not enough I want to see how it's going to look like with the lights special effects!

One of the dancers answered me: We are modifying some stuff and the light technician is not here yet.

Me: Ok, fair enough... Do you know what! you can go rehearsal in the other room when you get ready, get back here. I want to see guitarists on the stage now.

The three guitarists got on the stage with their singer they set their stuff .

Me: lights please.

They start playing the singer start singing, after a while the singer wanted to take a break so the guys start just improvising , they start playing Kiss me for ed sheeran I took the microphone and I start singing with them, one of them asked me to get on the stage .

John: Hey, Amy! Get on the stage please

Me: Why

Paulo: you have a beautiful voice, where were you hiding it, ok guys let's start from the beginning same key.

I start singing "kiss me" as Chris and Mandy the assistant get into the theatre,

Me : Lie down with me

As I finished singing I went directly to the back stage as I heard all the stuff members clapping. Chris got there to talk to me.

Chris: You didn't tell me you can sing!

Me: I can't sing, I was just having fun.

Chris: I have to tell Paul so you can perform at the opening.

Me:no I can't

Chris: why not, we still have time, or we can plan a performance for you at the ending of the festival it's going to be great.

Me: Please don't tell Paul.

Staff member2: the light technician is here.

Me: Chris can you please ask the dancers to come here so they can show us what the final piece looks like.

Chris: Ok.

I went outside to get some fresh air,

Mandy: oh my god you were great.

Me: thank you, I was just having fun with the guys, it's nothing big.

Mandy: It is something big, you should see how he was looking at you.

Me: who!

Mandy: Chris, he was staring at you.

Me: Really, and what did he said.

She tried to simulate his voice,

Mandy: "This girl is really amazing".

I smiled; I had a weird feeling when I heard her saying that

Me: I'm going upstairs to watch from there.

She got up back inside,

Chris: where is Amy?

Mandy: she went upstairs

Chris: Ok thanks see you around

Chris came and set next to me it was almost dark, I barely see him.

Chris: you look tired

Me: A little bit, yes

Chris: you can put your head on my shoulder.

Me: I'm ok

Chris: Are you sure?

Me: yes

Chris: are you putting a nail polish, can I see it

He held my hand cuddling my nails, as I looked at him he said in a very soft and low voice.

Chris: I miss you Amy.
