after gaining consciousness, minho felt restless. he made his way to his room, where his suitcase had been brought in. he went into the ensuite, bringing his green box with him. he settled the box down on the shelf, pushing it as back as it could go.

after finding the first-aid kit, he cleaned his lower lip and jaw with a disinfectant. he applied ice to the bruises on his ribcage, shivering as it made contact with his bare skin.

he fiddled with the things on top of the sink for a bit, resisting the urge to open the green box.

he finally gave in. he took the box from the shelf, placing on top of the counter and opening it.

he took off his sweatpants. he picked up one of the blades from the box, wiping it with the towel.

he brought the blade to his hips, cutting his skin. he tore up his skin, leaving red marks and a few lines of blood. his breath hitched as he made a cut too deep. he quickly brought it under water, trying to stop the blood.

he still felt unsatisfied after the blood stopped flowing. he started leaving cuts on his thighs. he felt like he deserved the burning sensation when the blade made contact with his skin. he thought he deserved the feeling of being stung by a cut made by himself.

he felt satisfied with what he'd done, washing the blade and putting it back in its place.

he took off his clothes as he stepped in the shower. he hissed in pain as the water hit his fresh cuts but did nothing to stop it. he felt himself relax as he began to wash his body with hot water engulfing him. he washed his scalp on the area where his head hit the mirror.

he stepped out of the shower, applying an ointment to his scalp and changing into pajamas and soft socks. he brushed his teeth and slipped right into bed. he tried not to think about how this trip will end up for him, and just lay there silently.

"you better not embarrass me," daeshin leaned into minho's ear, speaking in a sickly-sweet tone, as there were colleagues he wanted to impress.

"got it, sir." minho straightened his posture.

"mr. lee." seiren, the person who daeshin had come to meet, called out as she approached him.

"ms. minatozaki." daeshin politely bowed his head, "pleasure to finally meet you."

"i consider that you won't mind that i have brought my son with me?" sana half-asked, as she knew the response would have to be no.

"of course, i have no objections. i have my own son here with me, it would be quite hypocritical for me to object, now, wouldn't it?" daeshin laughed.

"here they come," sana muttered as he saw seiichi, her son, walking towards them, hands intertwined with another boy.

"hi babies." sana waved towards the two, just about missing the disgusted look daeshin shot towards the couple. minho sighed as he glanced at the look his father was giving the two.

"let's head in, now that everyone has arrived, shall we?" daeshin gestured towards the door. "after you, ms. minatozaki."

"you better keep your bitchy little mouth shut, got that?" his father gave him that sickly-sweet smile again as they walked pass other peers.
