George slowly descended, his heart racing, afraid of making any noise that would attract the villagers' attention. The basement was dark and smelled musty, as if it hadn't been opened in a long time. He decided to light one of the candles he had, but what could he do? He hadn't brought anything to light it. Would he stay in the dark forever? George thought about going back home, but he felt panicked; the basement seemed to insist on staying shut, as if something was warning him to stay away.

Terror gripped him as he thought about screaming, but who would save him if he fell into a trap? He gathered himself and decided to take the risk, moving forward into the pitch-black darkness, where fear crept into his heart like a living creature. He walked confidently but stumbled and fell to the ground. Luckily, he wasn't hurt, but as he began to feel around, he realized he had touched something strange. He felt a hole, got scared, and quickly pulled his hand back, then touched something else; it was a mysterious bag, but his fear of the unknown made him leave it.

George stood up and continued to feel along the wall until he slowly found a shelf. He got scared, and when he put his hand on it, it felt wet, making him feel disgusted. But after rubbing his hands, he found it was oily. He smelled it and realized it was oil; yes, it was a lamp. Here, George felt overwhelming happiness as if he were the king of the world. But his joy didn't last long; his face paled in shock at what he saw. The thing he touched was a skull. A wave of panic hit him, and he imagined many scenarios, starting to wonder if he would also die from hunger and lack of oxygen.

George fell and began to cry: "Why am I so miserable? Why haven't I found my parents? Why does this only happen to me?" But he quickly stood up again, determined not to die without a fight. He looked at the bag the skeleton was carrying and found diaries, old clothes, rotten food, a necklace, and a strange dictionary, along with many lighters, candles, ropes, and a telescope. George took the useful things and started moving.

But when George got up, he found himself in a hallway filled with cells on either side. These cells were filled with bones, and names of people were written on the walls, along with marks left by those who suffered in this place. George noticed that one of the folk tales about the rulers of the forest was written in blood, but this story was different. It didn't tell about the rulers of the forest or their guardians, but about a monster and a curse of the forest.

He found incomplete writing in blood that said: "Those monsters will kill you. If only we hadn't opened the door, if only we hadn't opened the door. Regret will take revenge on you; protect yourselves with lanterns, protect yourselves and do not see what you shouldn't see. Protect yourselves from these monsters." George was confused; he thought it was crazy talk, but after everything he had been through, he no longer mocked anything.

He saw a name he recognized: "Henry." He wondered if that hut belonged to him or if it was just a coincidence. Then he asked, "Why is this under our house? What did my parents do?" But he quickly denied it: "That's impossible; my parents are good. They wouldn't do something like that." George gathered his focus and decided to keep walking in this strange place.

He entered the cells trembling, examining the clothes of the skeletons and their bags. While searching, he noticed diaries full of codes. He was drawn to a strange symbol on a piece of metal inside a skeleton. He took it along with a golden watch it was holding tightly. George decided to break the bones to get it.

Finally, he felt very hungry despite the bad smell, so he decided to eat some bread he had brought with him. He quickly ate it and continued forward, but he stepped on a strange stone and heard a noise. A door opened as a part of the wall shifted. George found a library and some pharmacy supplies, like bandages, needles, and thread. He took them and began examining the books, hoping to find another hidden door.

As he tried to understand what was happening, he heard the doors creaking behind him, as if something was moving in the dark. His heart raced, and his thoughts scattered. Would he be able to escape this nightmare? Or was his fate to become part of this terrifying legend?

George tried to move forward, but he found himself trapped in water that began to seep from the ground, as if it was tearing around him. He panicked and quickly noticed the water rising, almost drowning him.

He noticed the door slowly closing, and water flooded the room. He rushed to the end, but found nothing. In a moment of panic, he saw a cell containing a mysterious picture, with a strange symbol in the center. The water had already reached half his height. He risked everything, tore off that picture, and discovered a symbol similar to the one he found on the piece of metal. George placed the lantern above the wooden picture he had removed and tried to insert the piece he had taken from one of the skeletons' bags. The piece clicked into place.

At that moment, the water reached his neck, and he struggled to stay afloat. George left the cell to find a staircase leading to a closed door with a lock. He didn't have a key other than the one he took from the first bag. He decided to take the risk and inserted it. The water engulfed him, and the lantern went out. He struggled to insert the key into the lock, but it finally opened.

Unfortunately, the door insisted on staying shut. He hit it with all his strength, thinking, "Will I drown in this dark place?" Suddenly, the door opened, allowing him to escape at last. George stepped out to find himself in...
