( after 4 months )

an alarm shakes up and declares the beginning of a new day for investigator william. he wakes up from his unsettling bed. his room is mostly empty and without any signs that show some of its owner personality. from the generic white color of the room to the empty wall without any pictures or posters. he brushes his teeth and prepare his work suit. he's alone in this big house. his life is so strict to this daily routine to the point where it's without any purpose or meaning. he used to have something to look up to everyday but now all he have is his job and his sense of responsibility towards this job.

after finishing his simple breakfast he heads towards his office. for another investigation about the CHX justice group. they have been more savage and influential these past months. especially after being guided by this mysterious shadowy man that appears on the internet here and then. william took it upon himself to find this guy and put an end to these vigilante justice seekers.

as he enters the office a young lady greets him with a dissatisfied look.

harper: you're late again old man.

william: sorry i didn't notice the alarm sound. so what's today's case.

harper: another unconfirmed suicide case of some higher up. this time it was by arisen. they say he lit up his house with his wife and two sons inside. they all died by suffocating.

william: let's talk while driving. i need to see the crime scene.

they both hop on the car and william starts driving to the burned house.

william: so how do we know that this case is connected to the chx justice group. other than him being a higher authority of course.

harper: before him ending his life. many of his scandals were exposed days prior to the incident. he was basically cornered to confess to his crimes and his life would have gone to a dark path anyway so he chose to end it. that's the story we know at least.

william : and what's your opinion on the case?

harper: it's just another trash being taken bu a bigger trash. both of them are disgusting. they never cared about innocent people lives. both of them only want thier own benefit so i have nothing to feel for them.

the silence roams around the car as william hears harper honest opinion. they finally arrive at the crime scene and it looks terrible. most of the house is burned and only one room is left without being fully destroyed. and to the surprise it's the room that the culprit took his own life in. after setting the house on fire.

william enters the room and there is not much evidence that shows what had happened or what was the motive of the group. was he blackmailed or taken advantage of? did someone threaten him. nothing is clear but the only thing clear is these weird drawing on the wall with the sentence.

( we watch. we know. we punish ) written by  the dead person's own blood. beside the drawings there's some numbers in what appears to be some type of a code that needs to be deciphered. they have seen many numbers like this throughout the past crimes that were involved with the chx case. they're still trying to find the meaning behind it.

harper: i think it's some kind of message. we have to combine all numbers to know what the message is .

william: you might be right. but why would they go on their way to write all of this. unless it's for an upcoming plan.

harper: we might be overthinking this. we still don't know their next motive.

they both keep the investigation going and work till afternoon. feeling very exhausted from this tiring day. william offers to have a dinner with harper.
