The entire Poddar family was at the mercy of Sanjay and Ruhi. Rohit couldn't bear Ruhi's betrayal, and he was also angry with himself for trusting Ruhi over Armaan, who had been a pillar of support for him in both good and bad times. With all these turn of events, Rohit had no strength to fight for himself or his family, which ultimately led him to become an alcoholic over the years. Manisha, Manoj, and Krish are the sensible ones in the family now. All others are still living in the past. For once, Madhav tried to bring some sense to the family by reaching out to Armaan and Abhira, but Kaveri Poddar, despite knowing her decision was wrong, was still unwilling to back down in front of Abhira, whom she considered a bad omen, which she is not. She knew that, but still her pride wouldn't allow her to ask for help from that girl. Tired of his Maasa's arrogance and Vidhya's cowardice, Madhav left the family. He knew in his heart and mind that he was placing too much responsibility on his brother, but it was necessary for him to take this step to maintain his sanity.

Ruhi doesn't care about anyone and is in her own world of partying, while Rohit has locked himself in his room all day, drinking and regretting his actions. Vidhya is always at the temple praying for her Rohit to regain his strength and fight for himself. Kaveri Poddar has lost all her sparkle and only stays inside her room. Manisha takes care of the kitchen and the kids. Charu and Krish are working to make ends meet. Though Sanjay hadn't denied giving money to his kids, he always insults Manoj, Manisha, and their children. Staying with Armaan, Krish had developed the quality of standing up for his siblings. So Krish had declined his father's offer, stating that he doesn't want to live off a cheater's money, which upset him. However, he thought that if Krish faced hardships, he would come back to him. But he hasn't known his son very well, just as Abhira says. His son has grown to be a big brother to his siblings and can go to any lengths to protect them, just like his older brother and sister-in-law.

It was Krish who couldn't bear to see his brother's condition and approached him to help him out of his guilt and his alcoholism. With continuous efforts, Rohit is finally returning to normalcy. Krish even suggested that Rohit go to rehab, which he accepted a few days ago, and now he is able to look himself in the eye. Sanjay believed that he had praised Poddar firms, but it was incurring losses as he couldn't meet the clients' needs. He has been continuously losing cases, which has tarnished the firm's reputation. Many of the skilled advocates have left their positions and joined competing firms. Poddar firms are on the verge of bankruptcy. Even Manoj is looking for a job at another company as he has the responsibility of his children who have not yet completed their education.

Manish Goenka has tried to make Ruhi understand that she is doing a lot of wrong to the Poddars. Once a lively household has lost its charm because of his granddaughter, which is unbearable for him. But all fell on deaf ears as Ruhi was very adamant about not changing her ways. Manish Goenka hated himself for not providing a good upbringing for his daughter; he believed that always giving in to her demands had made her this psychotic.

Mumbai

Armaan and Abhira woke up to another busy day of their lives. They, as usual, start their day with their playful bickering. Armaan never misses an opportunity to romance his beautiful wife. Sometimes Abhira feels like it's the same Armaan she met in Mussoorie four years ago. because her husband is extremely romantic and always manages to surprise her. Today, when both of them started to argue about who would get refreshed first, which lasted more than 10 minutes, Armaan suddenly pulled them both into the washroom, saying that this would save them time and they wouldn't have to fight over who needed to get ready first. Also, as dutiful citizens, they can save water, electricity, etc. Abhira was spellbound by his actions. This is not the first time Armaan has pulled this stunt, but she didn't expect him to be this mischievous today, especially since they both have their hearings and are supposed to be at court in a couple of hours. So Abhira was like, "Stop it, Khadusmaan! If we, as dutiful citizens, start saving water and electricity, we won't be able to save our clients, because I know very well that you won't let us reach court on time." Armaan, being himself, didn't want to miss this opportunity. He convinced his silly girl with puppy eyes and tender ministrations, allowing her to agree to her man. After all, nowadays it's becoming increasingly impossible for Abhira to deny her Khadusmaan anything.

Both enjoyed a romantic bath together and prepared for court. Due to the unplanned adventure, they were late and didn't have time for breakfast. So Abhira packed them up so they could have it on their drive to court. At times, this has become their routine whenever they were late for any reason. Both thankfully arrived at the court on time. They had their sessions, which worked in their favor. They have one more hearing before they go on their vacations. After the court session, Abhira had already planned a shopping date. She wanted to buy a few dresses and accessories for her vacation. So they arrived home feeling rejuvenated and went shopping. They have also told Ria not to make them dinner as they are eating out.

Abhira drove to the nearby mall with Khadusmaan in the passenger seat. First, they went to the clothing store. Armaan suggested to Abhira that she choose a few Western outfits, as he would love to see her in dresses that she usually avoids. Abhira, though hesitant to wear short clothes, still considered fulfilling his wishes. She also suggested that Armaan buy some cool collections instead of his usual things. With playful arguments and laughter, they did their shopping, thoroughly enjoying themselves. They also bought gifts for each and every member of their family, whether it was clothing, an artistic piece, or anything that would suit their personality.

Armaan had reserved a table at Abhira's favorite restaurant. They arrived at the location hand in hand and sat down to have their dinner. It's been three years together, but they always feel like it's their first date whenever they go out. With the passing years, the love between them continues to grow. Without the Poddar family and the drama, they had evolved into a power couple. It's not that they don't argue with each other. They still have differences of opinion when it comes to work or anything else, but they act maturely and resolve their differences whenever they arise. They don't allow any third party to interfere in their relationship. Naksh and Keerthi had often mentioned that they share a beautiful and chaotic bond just like Abhira's grandparents, Karthik and Naira.

With their usual ranting about everything around them, the couple finished their dinner and headed back home. They were pleased that they had spent a lovely evening that served as a stress reliever from their hectic lives. The moment they entered the house, Abhira collapsed onto the bed, saying that she was extremely tired. Armaan loved every little thing about his silly girl. It was he who coaxed her to change into comfortable clothes before she went to bed. Both changed and embraced sleep by cuddling with one another. Unaware of the storm that is going to hit them from the past very soon.

It's just less than a week before they go on vacation preparations, and their professional work is in full swing. Armaan was instructing his staff on what needed to be done, even though the court was closed, as there might be some clients who would need advice and clarifications, among other things. So Armaan was preparing them on how to address the issues. Once the meeting was over, Armaan and Abhira turned on their TV just to get some insights into what was happening. That's when the news of the Poddar firm going bankrupt was breaking. "Shocked" would be an understatement for Abhira and Armaan. For Armaan Poddar, firms have contributed significantly; he became a magnificent advocate from that point onward. He truly felt bad that the company had to deal with this kind of situation. In the news, they were describing the reason for the downfall as Mr. Sanjay Bansal's inability to run the firm. Additionally, the investors and creditors have asserted their claims, which will nearly lead to the loss of all properties that belonged to the Poddar family. Mr. Sanjay Bansal and Manoj Poddar have been reported to have been arrested. Manoj's arrest was unbearable for both Abhira and Armaan. It was Manisha and Manoj who treated them as their own, regardless of what other family members thought about them.Both of them were very concerned about how Chachisa and the Chorus gang were coping with these events. Abhira insisted to Armaan that they should go to Udaipur to help Chachasa. Armaan, initially skeptical, believed that he should help his uncle Manoj. Just as they were about to move, Abhira fainted, causing Armaan to panic.
