It's time for a flashback. Let's go back exactly one year, to when I was in 11th grade. Before I get into that, let me tell you something: I studied from class A to 10th with my sister. She used to go with me and come back with me; in short, she was with me 24/7. After passing the 10th standard, I changed schools for 11th and 12th grades. In this new school, I didn't have any close friends at first, but two fellow students tried to befriend me. Who were they? Ishaan and Roshan. They tried, and soon enough, we became a trio.
After a few days, they realized that I was genuinely a good guy. I never bunked any classes, I never talked to any girls, and I was quiet most of the time-in short, they noticed everything about me. They were the ones who taught me many things, like bunking classes and smoking. We used to have a lot of fun together.
One evening, they added me to a WhatsApp group that already had a few members. After adding me, they asked, "Akash, will you bunk classes tomorrow?"
I asked, "What will we do?"
They replied, "We'll hang out."
I was like, "Okay, sounds good." Then I asked, "No girls are coming, right?"
They said, "We'll be bringing our girlfriends."
Unfortunately, I was single at that time. Honestly, I never had a girlfriend in the first place.
I told them, "If you guys are bringing girls, then I'm not coming."
They insisted, but I was too shy, and they knew it. Eventually, I told them, "You have to choose: either me or your girlfriends." Then, I left the group.
And you know what? They chose me over their girlfriends. The next day, we had so much fun! We bunked class, went out, and enjoyed ourselves a lot. It was completely unexpected.
But you know what was even more unexpected?
Ms. Gupta was already in that group, and at the time, she was Ishaan's girlfriend. She was impressed by me and wanted to meet me. She insisted, but Ishaan never let her meet me. And that was the end of that.
She wanted to know who this guy was.
Now you understand why she was interested in me when I actually texted her! 😂
