A long sigh left my nose.

How could I hit him after all of this? I usually discuss with my fists, but it doesn't mean I don't have a heart.

I... I couldn't hurt him. He was just so desperate to get my forgiveness, that he was on his knees, almost crying. And I somehow felt that he wasn't just acting.

„...he's a sweetie pie if you know him well enough"

I rolled my eyes. My hand slipped from his face on top of his thick, white hair. I patted it while forcing an annoyed smile on my lips. "Okay, you can stand up, I'm not that mad at you"

He did. Almost knocking me up, not to mention that.

Two long arms wrapped tightly around me to prevent me from falling back, holding me stable. If not the force, his strong, lemon scent almost knocked me out.

Since I didn't know how to react to hugs, I chose to just lay my head on his chest while he pushes the last sip of air out of me.

His chest was pretty chiselled. Just saying.

That was the only cool thing about him.

"Thank you"  I heard him saying above, his head turning down toward me. His blue eyes were sparkling of joy, like a little boy's. "You know, you're the most interesting member I have ever had in my family"

"I said I don't hate you that much. Don't get too confident" I mumbled in return, though he didn't seem to give it much attention.

Abruptly, he released me, looking at my half-finished omurice. "Have you payed for that?"

"Not yet" I replied, suspicious. "Kotoha said it's on the house. Why?"

"I'll get something to drink then" cash appeared out of a fancy-looking wallet. "And also some mochis. What flavour do you like?"

I couldn't believe this man.

"Senpai, you don't have to pay for anything. I don't need any sorry gifts-" I reminded him, but was stopped midway.

By literally his finger on my mouth making me shut up.

"For you, I'm just Umemiya-kun. And I don't care whether you need gifts or not" his gaze became strict, his eyes narrowed. "If you want to fight in my family, you need to be fully fed. I haven't seen you eating all day"

"How did you- wait. Were you spying on me?"

"Not me. My people" he shrugged casually, handing Kotoha his cash when she arrived with my strawberry milk and matcha flavoured mochis. He bought six pieces for me to eat! I cannot eat that much! "And I won't go away until you eat this all"

"I'll throw up if I have to eat all of this" my stomach was already rumbling on just the thought. "I like mochi, but I'm not an elephant"

"Then eat as much as you can, but you have to take the rest home and eat later" Unemiya commanded, not bearing any disagreement.

I sighed, yet agreed. The quicker I demolish the most of it, the quicker I get home.

I pushed the plate between us, though, while signaling Sakura to come closer. My brother, with uncertain steps, but approached. I handed one mochi to him, one to Umemiya and one to me.

"I'll eat the rest, right in front of your overcaring gaze, but you gotte help me out"

"I hate mochi, though..." Sakura mumbled, rather to himself.

Senpai shook his head in disbelief. His eyes sparkled in wonder, with a hint of mischief. He accepted the sweet riceball, though. "You will never follow my orders, will you?"
