Chang'e: "Ne Zha, are you sure I shouldn't come?"

While Ne Zha was communicating with the Moon Goddess through the lotus, he was also sitting on the ground in meditation.

Ne Zha: "Yes, I'm sure. Besides, it would be safer for you to be there, we're already taking care of it."

Chang'e nodded and agreed with his friend, her arms folded.

Chang'e: "Yeah, actually you all handled the whole end of the world thing, I'm sure you all can handle this too."

While Ne Zha chuckled lightly at this, he stood up and took the lotus flower between his hands with a small smile on his face.

Ne Zha: "Thank you Chang'e... I really needed to talk to someone about this."

Chang'e smiled back at him.

Chang'e: "That's what friends are for, Ne Zha. And if you really need help, don't hesitate to call me, I'd rather help you and suffer than sit there watching you all suffer again."

Ne Zha nod as he continued to smile at the Moon Goddess with a mixture of sadness and tiredness.

Ne Zha: "Deal. We'll talk again later, okay? I need to get some rest after what happened."

Chang'e nodded in understanding.

Chang'e: "I understand. Have a good rest, Ne Zha!"

Ne Zha also bowed his head slightly.

Ne Zha: "You too, Chang'e."

Then Chang'e's astral projection closed, closing the lotus petals and disappearing, Ne Zha collapsed onto the bed as he sighed in exhaustion.

But he couldn't help but think about the strange and disturbing energy he perceived regarding Wukong.

==============

Everyone was sleeping soundly in their rooms.

Except for 4 people.

In the first room, Red Son was looking out the window at the sky, while Mei was looking worriedly at her demon friend.

She hadn't seen him like this since the Lady Bone Demon incident and saving her regarding Samadhi Fire.

But she knew why.

Mei: "Are you worried about your family?"

Red Son looked at the girl in surprise at first, then turned his gaze back to the window as his face returned to its former sternness.

Red Son: "You are not worried?"

When Mei heard this, she looked away and smiled sadly as she hugged the dragon plush in her hand.

Mei: "Before this happened, they went on a business trip again. I can only hope they are okay. Besides... I know my family is strong even if the chaos affects the place."

Mei smiled as she turned to her ginger friend. Even though Red Son tried not to show it, the hope could be seen in his eyes.

When Mei noticed this, she smiled and went to his bed and gave him her plush toy.

Mei: "Here... This plush kept me company when I was lonely and sad. Maybe it will do it for you too."

Red Son looked at the dragon plush handed to him strangely, then quickly took the plush, placed it next to him, and pouted.

Red Son: "A stupid toy can't help me. I'm not a baby."

Mei laughed at her friend's proud state, then left him alone and jumped on her bed, and within a minute, her snoring started to be heard.
