The Monster Trapped Inside Me

Chaos reigned in the Celestial Realm.

Some guards were overwhelmed by the chaos, while others took cover.

The team readied their weapons as they looked at the monster with hostility and horror. MK had activated his monkey form.

But Macaque seemed unaffected, walking out of the smoke monster while still maintaining his grin.

Macaque was wearing an orange and black cloak. He had black ruqun under his cloak and an orange stripe on his ruqun (like Lady Bone Demon's).

The cloak came down to his legs, making hom look elegant. There was also a purplish and orange streak in one strand of his black hair. He had a grin on his face as his eyes also glowed orange.

Macaque: "Ah, how sweet of you to think I can't find you~"

As Macaque's voice continued to come out distorted, Wukong placed a shielding arm in front of his successor and frowned. The others continued to hold their weapons and glare at him with hostility.

This seemed to amuse Macaque.

Macaque: "I guess you understand very well what I want. How smart you are~"

This irritated Mei and Pigsy as Macaque continued to laugh crookedly.

Mei: "Hey, did you come here to make fun of us or to fight?!"

When Macaque stopped laughing, he turned his glowing orange eyes towards the Dragon Girl and Red Som automatically placed his arm in front of his friend.

Macaque: "I'm not here to fight. Just give me the Harbinger of Chaos and I'll leave you alone~"

The team's blood ran cold at what he said and his smile, and they adopted an even more protective attitude towards MK.

Mei: "Sure! As if we'll hand over our friend to you easily!"

Mei and Wukong then exchanged glances, and then they both began to attack Macaque.

But Macaque's grin widened and he extended his hand towards Wukong.

And suddenly Wukong collapsed to the ground and began to hug his body in pain.

MK tried to take a step towards his mentor as Mei and the others anxiously turned to the suffering Wukong.

MK: "Monkey King!"

But others stopped him.

Wukong's breaths began to come in short gasps as Macaque made certain movements with his hand.

Before he lost consciousness, he looked at his successor one last time and smiled.

Then, as everything went dark for the Great Sage, his body collapsed to the ground as if he had gone boneless.

The Celestial Realm fell into a deathly silence at first, everyone was looking at the Great Sage who was lying unconscious on the ground.

MK quickly ran towards his mentor as he finally broke free from his friends' grip.

MK: "Monkey King! You-"

In an instant, Sun Wukong's eyes opened wide.

But his eyes were orange, not the old gold.

He tried to lunge at MK, who came right next to him with a manic smile on his face, but Mei stepped between them with her sword and knocked Sun Wukong back with a sword slash.

As a sword wound appeared on Wukong's left arm and was bleeding, Sun Wukong licked the wound on his arm.

Which caused the team's facial expressions to change from fear to disgust.
