A/N: soft and happy little filler chapter since you need a new hero name. And maybe more ;)
The reason for your sleepiness was the mere fact that you had to go on patrol from midnight to the time of 4 am. Sure, it was a really peaceful time and you wouldn't want to change the time even if it hindered your sleep. However, it meant that you only got around 2-3 hours sleep at max. And if there were more villains there or where you were busy with homework, you wouldn't get sleep at all. And there were only a handful of heroes who were willing to take over the night patrol.
Your bag was softly lying on your shoulders, your books, pens and phone filling the space out, sometimes swaying left to right when your sleepiness would overtake you.
It had been one of those nights where villains decided that they were so clever to break in in the very early morning hours, stealing cars and some being strong enough that you needed ten spikes to fight them off. All while you lay on the rooftop of your favourite tower, watching the stars while you desperately needed to keep yourself awake.
Some passer-by even gave you worried looks when it would go that far.
And what you didn't expect was that once you entered the train and sat down on an empty seat, several people started to recognize you and said something about how they admired your strength and intelligence. And how it was a shame that you weren't able to fight against 'that explosive kid' in the end.
You almost forgot about the sports festival.
People let you in peace after they noticed how you tried to keep your eyes open, the dark circles under your eyes almost as black as your spikes.
It had been two weeks since you were spying in U.A., two weeks of nightly patrols and hiding, two weeks of doing homework at midnight, and two weeks of time where you lived off of coffee and tea. And the occasional sleeping in class when you'd already known about the themes they were teaching to reload your attention span.
And the sleep between 7 pm and 21 pm you got yesterday wasn't helping that much.
You hadn't got time to drink a coffee today because you ran out of coffee in your apartment.
It had gone so far that you accidentally fell asleep on the train, resulting in the kind woman next to you waking you up when you arrived at your stop.
You quickly thanked her before you got out of the exit in time, walking towards U.A.
It was truly a shame that the HPSC was lacking staff. With only two main agents being you and Hawks, you two were pretty busy. The rest were security, mentors or business men. And the president herself.
The clouds were pouring their feelings out, the water pelting down onto the concrete, droplet after droplet creating a cacophony of peace. The different things the droplets landed on seemed like an orchestra, creating different sounds when the water hit them. There was no sign of the sun or the light. The grey clouds were watching the people from above, the students all having umbrellas and rainwear, leaving them dry and untouched from the rain.
You didn't bother in the slightest as the weight of hundreds and hundreds of droplets hit you from above, the coldness coming from them oddly calming and soothing as they helped you to become more awake.
Despite it being spring, the temperatures were pretty warm.
And when you arrived in the class, Mina was freaking out. Not because of the dark circles under your eyes that she hadn't noticed yet, but because you were wearing a white shirt while it was soaked, your black top underneath it visible. Even though it wasn't your underwear, she still freaked out and shoved you in her seat, the water in your hair forming droplets at the end of them, dripping down onto her desk.
