I highly recommend following this story from here on or from 'The training camp' onwards to understand future events. If you are just here for some tension and everything, just skip to DIWK Part 3 or 4. Writing quality in the next few chapters will prob be bad since I'm trying to get to a point where I can drop a christmas chapter. With fluff. for once.
Shortest A/N ever: I hate school. GUESS WHO BOUGHT A BAKUGO FIGURE
DIWK Part 3 probably starts with chapter 30-ish. (the training camp is my fav arc to write though)
ATP It looks like I'm talking to ghosts whenever I'm posting something on my account LMAO.
TW: suicidal behavior, angst, kinda schizophrenic, notice how Bakugo talks kinda softer than before? Heh. I think it's time for more angst.

You had never felt remorse when you hunted your targets and robbed their entire life in one slash.
Ever since you could think of, there was a certain feeling in the depths of your being, something so complicated that you could never voice it into words.
Maybe it was the absence of the love of your parents or the lack of interaction between you and kids your age.
And lately, after you lost Melissa, you felt that feeling arise again.
If you had to choose a word to describe feelings, you would choose emptiness. However, it wasn't only that.
Knowing that you could never live a normal life, knowing that you never had the chance to experience one.
No matter how much you would learn how to behave like a normal teenager, you would never have the chance to enjoy it to the fullest.
In the past 3 months, you had taken the lives of 150 criminals, mostly servants of All for One, arrested and brought 100 criminals to the police station and had around 10 panic attacks before you learned to deal with the mention of the most cruel man in history. And lost your dearest and only best friend you ever had.
You had come to terms that whether you gained your memories back or not, it wouldn't change your wasted childhood or your wasted life.
Melissa's death had been a warning that you were too careless to let your guard down for only a minute and that you dared to feel as if you were just some normal human kid born under normal circumstances. You were pathetic. Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic, pathetic...
Aoyama had never wanted his life to turn out like this. His quirk was given to him by All for One, making his entire family servants of him.
Fear wasn't something he was unfamiliar with. The boy constantly lived in fear. Being scared whether he had to betray his classmates again, revealing the location of them. Like this time. He had revealed the
Dum...Dum...Dum... Heaven says-
Aoyama was beyond confused.
He didn't know what was happening, or why there had been a letter under his door, the swings of the letters the only hint he had. It was probably someone he had never talked to, which didn't ease his nerves in the slightest.
His usual smile was getting more wobbly with every second that passed, fearing that something might be wrong, the silence stretching into eternity.
Until a muffled scream echoed through the trees.
