Chapter 25: The Training Camp

And holy shit there is always one person that is there the second I publish a new chapter. 

I watched "The girl who leapt through time". Crying.

Js realized that the tension scenes were a bit too... intimate. I need to change these two tension scenes before I'm going to go insane.

Found out my readers don't fw angsty chapters. Gonna stop yapping and put TWs at the beginning of chapters instead.

"On the night of Wednesday, two decapitated heads were found in a local shop on I-Island"

The graphics of the TV were flickering as the voice of the reporter sounded cursed in the quiet room.

"Their bodies were gone as the security robots investigated the scene alongside the police. There was no trace of the murderer as the surveillance cameras were destroyed with no evidence on the scene. No witnesses were found and we appeal for you to report any suspicious people you might encounter on the island. Police Officer Ranpo Edogawa identified their bodies as Em Shield and Mark Shield, the aunt and uncle of the newly deceased girl Melissa Shield"

Another flicker. The screen's colour turned red, then green, and then blue, and the female reporter was almost inaudible amongst the colour chaos.

"Poe....claims that...murder on Melissa Shield...Shadow..."

The machine was destroyed as the man before the broken screen smirked, claiming success at his perfectly executed plan.

Although he hadn't been the murderer or the one who led everything into place, he knew it was the best outcome he could wish for.

Act 1.5: Thoughts and Memories

"Ever since I have met [Y/N], I feel I've gained a new perspective on life. She was the rudest hero I've ever met and, even though I didn't like her when she scolded me for bumping into her and acted harshly, there was something unusual about her. 

It's sad how she seems so blank despite her young age. Despite this, she still saved me when I needed help. Even though I can't visit her or even have contact with her, I still think we've grown pretty close and become best friends. Beneath the surface, there lays a hidden layer of her personality deep inside of her. 

 I really want to help her like she helped me and hope that one day, I can help her with my support items. 

Or so I thought. 

She reassured me I would survive. 

While I knew it was a lie. She might've been a person relying on logic, but right now, she was lying. 

Nothingness was engulfing me as I barely kept my eyes open with her saying various words, yet I could only watch her mouth move while my ears couldn't process anything anymore.
