It had been a month since I left and I made sure to blend in well with society to stay hidden by the daylight. Vampires could very well come out in the sun but it was preferred that they didn't. It wasn't like the movies or story books where they would burst into flames and crumble to the ground. No, it would just be extremely uncomfortable, their skin and eyes being sensitive to the light putting the body through pain. It was comparable to extreme flu like symptoms accompanied by a hangover from a 3 day binge. For me? It felt like I was human, outside of the random things I could do I felt and looked no different than any normal human walking the streets.

It was around midnight when I woke to contractions. My stomach rock hard as I breathed the best I could to slowly sit up from bed, my water breaking shortly after. I know I had to do this alone but my door cracked open to two brothers. Isaac and Elijah both twins that were like me, both abandoned, both human but immortal with abilities, and both the same DNA.

"Is it time?" Isaac asked calmly as I nodding while breathing, the door closing softly while I laid back.

Pain riddled by body while I pushed through the firey gates of hell and pulled my daughter into the world. The sounds of her cries filling the air as a wave of relief hit me, her dark hair and dark eyes peering up at me as Elijah handed me a towel to wrap her in.

"Welcome to the world Lilliana" I whispered to her as I traced my finger over her face, her small features mimicking her fathers and mine while she fed from me.

"She's beautiful" Isaac mentioned as I handed her to him so he could check over her, his hand over her chest gently.

"She has a strong heart" his words soft as I smiled cleaning myself off.

"How are you feeling?" He asked curiously looking at me.

"Healed" I replied as they both laughed a little. We had the ability of quick recovery when we wanted it, each ability was as we wanted through emotion and never involuntarily done. It's how we trained ourselves to see normal to the outside world. We knew we were special but we didn't know what caused it. I kissed Lilliana  nose as she slept while swaddled up.

"Get some rest, we have a long day tomorrow" I nodded to them as they closed the door. My body relaxing into the blankets, sleep taking over and greeting me warmly.

As we walked down the streets of downtown power seemed to emulate through us as people made a pathway. I walked in the middle pushing Lilliana in her stroller as I had one brother on either side of me. My senses enhanced as we were soon passed by 4 men dressed in all black like us with sunglasses that they peered through walking by us.

"It's them" I said calmly and getting in the car as Isaac held the door open for me, one of them approaching him, my ears picking up the conversation.

"I believe you have what belongs to the Lord."
Isaac playing the part well as he responded.

"My apologies sir but you must be mistaken. My sister and niece have no claim to your Lord or Kind. I'm sorry for whatever inconvenience this may have caused you but you have the wrong people" I knew exactly what he was doing by the look on the vampires face as he was oddly entranced in Isaac's words while nodding with enough time for him to get in the car.

"Go" he said as Elijah took off down the road, our power of control only holding for so long while we are out of sight.

"Now what?" Eli asked looking in the rear view mirror.

"We let them catch me. Then, we hold a meeting"

I sat at the same spot, in the same corner of the roof top restaurant looking over the city that the Lord brought me to for my 18th birthday. My right leg crossed over my left in heels while my black leather dress hugged my body and came up mid thigh. My long hair straightened as it cascaded down my back, I picked up foot steps before they were loud enough to hear.

"I was wondering what took you so long" my voice even while I sipped my wine.

"You weren't easy to find Doll" that voice echoing through me as I smiled.

"Oh my dear, didn't you hear? I am a woman of my own power"

"One that will always be my Doll and mate" a small chuckle leaving me.

"You speak of mates, dolls and ownership like you haven't been inside of Victoria every second of everyday since my departure"

"Jealous?"

"Now how can I be jealous of someone who would spread her legs to anything that emulated power and strength. Be careful with that one, a vampiress like that will get you shadowed to the gates of hell" Lilliana stirring from her slumber with a whine as I heard him step forward with a gasp, Isaac and Elijah coming from the shadows to stand in his way while I picked her up. A protective guttural hiss coming from him at the intrusion.

"Let me see my daughter" I looked over my shoulder to see him getting overly close to the twins.

"I'd watch yourself Xander, those two will shred you into pieces if you aren't careful"

"Who are they..."he growled, his eyes not leaving theirs.

"My older brothers. Both twins sharing the same DNA as myself. The one on your right is Isaac, he can have you killing yourself with just one thought and the other is Elijah. If you think my ability to over power your little toy was impressive then you should see what he can do" Lillianas lip pouting out as I bounced her slightly and shushed her to settle down. Xanders eye contact breaking to look at her.

"She's fine, she just hears your voice"

"Then let me see her" he insisted.

"And how would I know you wouldn't just up and leave with her, there's no way to trust you" another voice coming from the distance.

"He's not going to hurt her love, he just wants to see her" a small smile coming from me.

"Ahhh Valek, it's good to see you. I see you healed well" I outstretched my hand to him as he stepped forward cautiously past his brother who was fuming while I pulled him into a side hug. His eyes looking at her intensely.

"It's just a small scar, thanks to the hundreds of pieces of glass you threw in my face."

"You should have ducked, would you like to hold your niece?" I asked as I he sat down and I handed her to him, a commotion erupting as Xander tried to break through while I walked toward him.

"You'll get your turn if you show some restraint, not sit" out of breath his body pulled him into a fair will full force as I leaned forward.

"Good boy" I whispered seductively and kissed his cheek, his eye rolling before they closed putting him in a deep sleep. Elijah taking Lilliana from Valek before he collapsed to the ground.
