Startling surprise

"Yahh Iseul, do you know that guy?" Said Bibi. You halted and looked at Bibi with an annoyed glare, "are you trying to make fun of me?" You said, sarcasm evident in your tone. Niki looked at you and held your arm with a concern look. "Are you ok? You seem angry." Asked Niki.

You relaxed your muscles and looked at Bibi with an apologetic look. "Yea, just a tiny headache." "I'm sorry for bickering loudly Iseul." Bibi said while looking and talking in a low tone. "No it's not your fault. I'm sorry for my rude tone, you know how I don't like when people bicker loudly." You said. Bibi nodded with a smile understanding your situation.

You all continued walking to your next class. You made it as you bid goodbye to your friends. You walked to the far back at the corner. You quietly sat down. You toke your books and notebooks out. You saw the guy who stumbled infront of you. Suddenly your attention diverted to the two girls infront of your who were bickering about something that happened moments before class started.

"Did you hear? Hyunjin got shy when a tapped his shoulder." Said the girl. "Yea, apparently he was leaned on her locker, when she tapped his shoulder to ask him to move his cheeks turned crimson red and he stumbled away." The other girl said while giggling. You smiled a little, "so his name's hyunjin." You thought.

You looked at his direction and saw him already staring at you. He immediately blushed and looked away.

You chuckled lightly and opened your notebook. You turned to the very last page and wrote his name, "hyunjin.". It sounded familiar to you. You thought hard and realised he's in the school's famous hockey team, hwang hyunjin. You have a thing for hockey players.

"Alright students, phones down, stop talking and let's start our lesson." Said the teacher. You just sat there with your face on your palm as you slowly drifted to sleep. Already knowing the topic.

/an hour later/

You scrunched your face as you smelled a strong fragrance, a masculine one. You reluctantly opened your eyes only to be startled to see hyunjin laying his head beside yours. He was staring at you, he didn't even budge when you opened your eyes as if he was lost in them. His eyes widened when he realised you woke up.

He immediately stood up to run away but you held his hand and pulled him to sit down beside you.

"Don't run away again. I wanna talk." You said with a gentle smile on your lips. "I'm sorry, you just looked...really pretty I just wanted to take a closer look." He said in a panicked voice. "I don't care if you were staring at me. I just wanna get to know you." You said. He just stared at you while you stared back. His eyes slowly drifted to your lips then back to your eyes which gave you butterflies.

"I'm hyunjin, I'm sorry I...I stumbled back there." He said while rubbing his nape. "I'm chun iseul, It's fine I did just ask you to move instead of politely introducing myself." You said and nodded after words as if approving the words you used.

"Well, you slept through the whole lecture. I would give you my notes but I didn't pay attention to the lecture either." He said with a cheeky smile. You let out a little laugh before patting his head. He blushed like a cute strawberry. "Well, I'm sure I can ask someone else." You answered while fixing his hair as you had messed it up a bit by patting his head. He just stared at you.

"I can ask my friend seungmin, he probably toke notes." "I'd be grateful if you did, I'm not comfortable talking with others." You said with a soft smile which melted his heart. "Yea no problem. I better go to my friends, they're probably wondering where I am." He said. "Yea sure, I'm sorry I held you up." "No no it's fine, I had a great time talking with you. Bye Iseul." He said and waved at you. "Till the next time we meet hyunjin." You said and waved back.
