The Spartan of Hope

Chapter 1

Izuku Midoriya had a great life but all good things come to an end it was when he and his sister Izuna turned 4 years old upon discovering that he was quirkless while his sister inherited Pyrokenisis. Although in the beginning Hisashi and Inko tried to be supportive of their son but little by little the two had withdrawn from his life to focus on Izuna

As this life continued Izuku grew up he had removed all of his hero merch and put it away in case he'd have to sell some of it for money. Although Izuku helped neighbors with chores for a small amount of money it helped him buy second hand clothes and fruit to eat.

Meanwhile Izuna had seen how her brother was living life she had witnessed him leave the dream of being a hero behind. Izuna was heart broken the dream of being a hero duo with her brother would never come true.

From that moment on years had passed and Izuku began to workout and prepare his body because the one career that he could be useful in as seen through the eyes of the public was that of military. The big difference had been those in the service of their country were respected even the quirkless. The biggest risk of working in the military was that every mission assigned to the squads all had letters written and ready in case someone died.

Time skip 14 years

Both Izuku and Izuna had finished and graduated from Highschool. Izuku had a decent school life due to telling the teachers that he'd be Enlisted after Highschool so everyone gave him a respectful send-off. Meanwhile Izuna had lived everyone's highschool fantasy she was miss popular, had lots of friends and every guy had simped for her.

Before the heading home Izuku went to the grocery store to buy ingredients for his dinner there was a particular person he ran into when he arrived at the store. Izuku met Nezu the principal of UA University who appeared to have trouble reaching for some tea.

Izuku: Allow me sir

Nezu: Why Thankyou young man

Izuku: You're welcome Principal Nezu it's an honor to meet you.

Nezu: I don't believe I know you young man are you a student at UA?

Izuku: No sir I'm not a student but my twin sister will be applying to UA this Year.

Nezu: I see what about you? Surely you're also apply

Izuku: I'm unsure of my future but may I schedule a meeting with you there's something I'd like to discuss further

Nezu: of course I'll help you anyway I can just because I'm not a conventional hero who does patrol doesn't mean I don't help those who are in need. Are you free tomorrow?

Izuku: Yes I'm available tomorrow sir

Izuku jotted down his info on a paper and handed it to Nezu

Izuku: Please contact me and let me know what time you'd be free so that we can meet.

The two had gone their separate ways and Izuku collected his ingredients for dinner. Once Izuku left to head home upon his arrival Izuku noticed his parents and sisters shoes at the entrance of his home

Izuku: I'm home!

Izuku shouted making his presence known after he walked inside Izuku saw everyone in the kitchen looking serious.

Izuku: Who died?

Inko/Hisashi: Son

The moment his parents said son something inside them felt off as if it had been years since they addressd him as such

Hisashi: Son I was wondering. What do you have planned for the future?

Izuku: I'm not sure Why do you ask?
