It took two hours to get to Port Angeles from San francisco. Imagine leaving the warm to live in the cold, not mine or my mom's thing, definitely. We both hate the cold weather, it sucks the life out of a person, I am already missing the warm weather– Oh God!! Why did I agree to this?! I started panicking over the smallest stuff. I hated how things didn't go as planned, and this time was one of them. We were waiting, and waiting, and waiting– Nothing! Our suitcases were the last one's! How– we were like the last one's to board, meaning the first suitcases to leave the plane, right? Agh!! It's already going bad. I have a feeling that I'm going to hate it here, but for my father's sanity, and my family's, I'm here. I obviously didn't have a choice, it was to stay with my controlling grandmother or to follow my family. I chose the obvious, of course. I would go crazy if I lived with her. I always did when I went on vacation and stayed at her house.

At least both my best friend's parents decided to come to Forks too. They'll hate the weather as much as me. I missed Martina and Nahary, the only people that truly understand how I feel.

As we arrived at our new house, both mine and my brother's jaw dropped. It was drop dead gorgeous. "The biggest room is mine!" I yelled and my brother shoved me and cursed under his breath. "The bigger room is the suit,so it's ours. You can stay with the other." My dad reminded me and I nodded.

I walked inside, exploring every bit of the house, before deciding that the second big room would be mine

I walked inside, exploring every bit of the house, before deciding that the second big room would be mine. We waited a few hours for the moving truck to arrive and I was growing tired and just wanted to sleep. My parents had gone to town for different reasons, my mother to get herself a job at Forks High, and my dad to the rez. He told me that he was going to see a few houses and the roads, and his guide was well known— I guess..Billy Black? I don't remember.

I was slipping to the world of sleep but I guess our neighbors didn't want that. The doorbell rang two times before I decided that I was leaving the floor and answering it. "Amelia!" my brother called, "Go get the fucking door!" I sighed. There was nothing I could do to save me from this misery of a brother.
"Well hello." An older man with a mustache said, making me rethink my decision to open the door. "Uh— Hi? Do you need something?" He raised his hands in surrender and I noticed a girl older than me behind him. She looked so awkward, like she was forced to be here. "Is your dad home?" He asked, making me frown and I was beginning to speak when he interrupted me. "No, no, not like that. I'm the chief and we talked about the roads in the reservation." I sighed in relief. "No, I think he is with Billy..Black?" He nodded and murmured something to the girl behind him. "We won't bother you anymore. Here." he handed me a plate of cookies that looked like they just left the oven. "Thank you. I'll tell my dad you stopped by." As I was closing the door and he was walking the moving truck stopped righ in front of the house. "Fuck. Seriously—now?" I murmured and left the plate on the balcony before walking outside. "Need some help?" I nodded. "Good afternoon, is this the Miles residence?" "Yes it is." The chief Swan responded. - It was in his badge and I read it. - The man in the uniform nodded before heading to the back of the truck. I had called my brother to help us and he quickly jogged behind me.

"Thank you, again, chief. We'll handle it from here." I smiled at the man and the girl in front of me. "Please, call me Charlie. This is my daughter, Bella. Sorry for the late introductions." I chuckled a little and Bella gave me an awkward smile. "I'm sorry too, I'm Amelia and my brother is Caleb. It was nice meeting you. I'll tell my dad you helped us."
He nodded and I waved goodbye to them as they got into the cruiser.
Okay. Now back to get back to cleaning and organizing my room. I huffed as I started to run up the stairs.

It had already been three hours since Charlie and Bella had helped us with the moving truck. I already set my room the way I wanted. Well, at least I tried to.

I still had to buy curtains, witch bothered me a lot

My brother was being difficult in this, I had helped him a bit with his room, but nothing much, he was old enough to do this on his own, why did I have to help when he doesn't do the same? Every room, fortunately, had its own bathroom, and I was thrilled. I cleaned it, and placed my products everywhere when I unpacked. Everything looked already beautiful.
