Dawns POV
Mom just got home and everyone left an hour ago. Finishing dinner and setting it on the table. I looked over at my mom and she was nervously picking at her food. "Dawn... I'm seeing someone." My mom said looking at me.
3rd person POV
Dawn ripped her head up and looked at her mother. Dawn choked on a piece of food. "I'm fine but wow uh dating someone?" Dawn asked after a few minutes with a shocked look on her face. "Yes. You meet him tommorow night at dinner." Johanna replied casually. Dawn pushed her plate forward and stood up. "I think im going to head to bed early tonight." Dawn said and walked to her bedroom. Closing the door softly behind her. Dawn leaned against the door and slid down it sitting on the floor.
Dawns POV
Dating!?? Mom's been alone since dad left..... I want her to be happy! But I just never thought of her you know.. Dating! Sighing to herself she got up and went to her bathroom getting ready for bed. Staring in the mirror at herself thousands of thoughts ran through Dawns head. What if he hates me? Or if he is rude? Or worse not right for mom!!??? Shaking my head I turned out the light and layed down in bed.
